Is a Taurus better than a Fusion?
I Keep a Taurus Ultralight .38 Special about 18 inches from where my hands are on the keyboard as I type this
I’ve read their revolvers are good but their semi autos or hit or miss.
I’ve had a number of Taurus handguns through the years. Never had a problem with any of them.
I have a Colt Agent. It’s ok.
I just keep a bucket of hockey pucks near my bed to throw at the bad guys. The leftist said that was adequate protection. And I took down my back walls and front fence because the leftist said they did not help protect me or my home.
I have a Taurus .38 and like it very much.
If you can find them try the Hornady Custom 38 SPCL Critical Defense cartridges.
Yeah, they’ve had some problems in the past...
If the hand gun doesn’t say Colt on it then I don’t buy.
I had one and sold it right away. The way the cylinder swung open, you couldn’t use a quick loader.
I have a taurus .22 magnum revolver that I've owned for decades. It's a double action eight round in stainless. Taurus revolvers are a close cousin to a smith and wesson as taurus aquired s & w patent(s) way back.
I own or have owned more than 5 Taurus handguns.
44mag, 45lc, 357mag, 9mm, and 22lr. I have never had an issue.
My oldest son has several as well.
Maybe we are lucky, i do own other handguns as well, from different mfr’s, and have had issues.
Mind that every Taurus i’ve purchased was new, and several but not all the other mfr’s, were used. The others - some not all - have had issues.
Recommend that you shoot the h-ll outa that wheelgun and sus it out for yourself.
I was just in Sprouts. They have what I think is a new sign saying No Firearms. I felt so reassured and safe shopping in the no gun zone. I am sure they had armed security to protect me.
I’ve had several over the years. Well made with good customer support. My Wife still has an 85 Snubby and shoots it well.
At one time, I would rate them a little better than Smith & Wesson, but then S&W quality went up.
I've got a 709 Slim in 9mm that I use for my every day carry. It's a great pistol, and has good reviews.
I have a Taurus, I like it.
Check the angle of barrel to frame, sometimes they are not aligned on Taurus. The gap between the barrel and cylinder then is different from left to right and if too close on one side, it can jam when the gun heats up. Had that happen on my airweight and a judge. After a quick fix by the gunsmith it worked very well.
