BETO & SUBURBAN HOUSEWIVES

Posted on 11/08/2018 8:12:13 AM PST by DIRTYSECRET

Let's cut the crap. These women only have to listen to these guys for a few minutes. Next thing you know they're ready to take their pants off. It worked with B.J. and Hussein. Doesn't matter to them if they end up like Mary Jo or Kathleen Wiley-remember her? Beto stepped up to be the next one. Are all women this way? The answer is no. It only takes a few and the election is lost. This is what we are up against. John Edwards must be fuming somewhere.

I don’t care how tall/short they are, I don’t care what type of hard work they’ve done...I just want them to come here LEGALLY!!

*************

Even if they come in legally and don’t follow the rules they become illegals.
A significant number are visa overstays that come in legally but
don’t leave when their visa expires. A lot of attention or media hype
is about the southern border but that is only a portion of the problem.

Works both ways. Plenty of freepers are ready to vote for Palin, Pirro etc for any position(no pun intended). Qualification? Babe!

I love this!! Great branding. It is not deceptive, it is part of the core of who we are, but told in a more “relational” way. Unfortunately just the fact isn’t getting us where we need to be.

The GOP doesn’t seem to have a product because many have spent decades trying to get along with Democrats rather than keep campaign promises.

I’ve never known one woman who voted based on a man’s looks.

I was in Georgia when NAFTA was being debated. A blonde 30-ish woman and I struck up a conversation at work. I found she was of like mind re: anti-NAFTA and other Democratic policies. Agreed with me right down the line.

Election night goes by and I asked her who she voted for and she said "Clinton". I asked here why in the name of God did she do that. Answer: "Oh, he's such a handsome man." I felt like banging my head against the wall.

I’m sure some women somewhere might vote on looks, just as some men do.

But, not once have I ever heard another woman even comment on the looks of a candidate.

Maybe, in talking about NAFTA, etc., that blonde told you what she thought you wanted to hear, but secretly she leaned Democrat.

Why do Tester and Manchin win

They win because they are authentic "locals," simply. Both ran perfect campaigns for their states: tradition, identity, and trust as a local. Neither GOP candidate had that authenticity.

R WVA Morrisey is a New Yorker.
R MT Rosendale is a Marylander

I get that the WVA primary was complicated, but there's no way to win against a "son" if you're running an identifiable "other." (btw, that's how Ocasia-Whatever won... she convinced the idiots she's "one of them").

But here's the thing: only Manchin and Tester could pull that off in the states.

And only Trump can pull that off nationally.

"...not once have I ever heard another woman even comment on the looks of a candidate."

Weird, because I heard many women vote strictly based upon good looks, charm, and well-spoken dictation with my own two ears (Young and old).

Straight men tend to vote reasonable ideas; not on the looks of females or other men.

In fact, we did not have a "progression" problem until voting rights were expanded (Which included women).

Tarrant County (Fort Worth area) just turned blue, for the first time in DECADES.

That is bad news about Tarrant County.

Tax cuts are irresponsible without spending cuts FIRST. Also, if you have to "emotionally" connect with a voter then our country is finished anyway. Marketing is for selling goods and services to provide value to a firm in order to make a monetary profit and most importantly, to make the shareholders happy (In the case of Party politics, to secure perverted power in this day and age and make the apparatus happy).

Responsible government on the other hand is based on neutrality, as the Constitution was designed to prevent the Federal government of becoming a positive entity that would prey upon the Natural Rights of the individual and the family unit. You must think instead of being a slave to emotions (But I get what needs to be done to secure perverted power).

BTW, why don't you tell your Republican cronies to come up with a marketing experience (Look up the term)that deals with the fact that the Federal Reserve owns over 45% of government securities (Which they had to buy en mass after 2008 and beyond) to service are debt which requires them to start liquidating their 10-years right now to the tune of around $3 Trillion. That is just for starters. Perhaps if that is explained adequately, people will begin to reject Big Government, because rates will go sky high and perhaps the US credit rating will be downgraded near junk status because we don't have $3 trillion to the margin calls that will be demanded.

Well, the candidate has to carry himself well. Of course
that sells, to a certain extent.

But the OP was talking about “looks” in a different way.

Maybe it depends on generation, location, etc.

The first more typical black experience candidate will resonate just as much as the kenyan, unfortunately.

Resonate some, but not as much. You got plenty of White people voting for the first Black president thing who aren't going to be voting for the second or third.

Gillum, from what little I know of him, is probably more authentically Black than Obama or Harris or Booker, but I don't see him attracting the level of support that Obama did if he ever runs for president.

Also, the bad 2008 economy had a lot to do with Obama winning.

Thanks for you insight.
I know so many younger people that both are working married with two kids that live in the suburbs that do overall feel the Trump Effect. They are paying less taxes and most own their own homes.
The people that are single moms working low paying jobs, just automatically vote Democrat because they need their government assistant and believe the big bad Republican will take it away. I see what you are saying about better messaging.

"Well, the candidate has to carry himself well."

No they don't, Lincoln had an extremely whiny voice and had a tall frail wimpy posture, however, men saw past that and recognized his ideas trump the verbal and physical "imperfections". BTW, promote ideas not superficial physical qualities, better leaders run on ideas, not whoredom/lust for power.

That means that all ten of the largest cities in TX are now fully Democrat, or did I miss one. Even Plano (No. 8) went Democrat in 2018.
