Nope. Those tax hikes may have cost us 2-3 seats.

But you will NEVER win a national race on tax cuts.

If you can’t explain to Millenials why tax cuts improve the rest of their lives in NON-economic terms, you have lost them.

Look at a little marketing research. It’s overwhelming. It dominates all advertising now.

It’s already here. I personally would like to see a consolidation of ‘inventory’ in the 30% range across the country. JC’s and vocational schools are already filling that gap.

Above all, THIS ISSUE is top of mind of kids approaching voting age. I run a Scout Troop and a Sea Scout Ship, and they are all scared to death.

The 14 and 15 year olds, when you bring up the topic, just shut down. They get precious little of the vocational side in HS.

We need to be talking to the 14 year olds, today. Most of what they see everyday doesn’t make sense. Tie it to liberalism (plantationism) and you can make the inroads.

I just think this country is going to have to literally stare into the abyss if anything is going to change.

Yes. But it’s not gonna come through public schools.
(Lenin said “give me your kids for 8 years and I’ll have them for life”-—but it didn’t work, did it? Commie “yutes” abandoned Communism just 20 years after WW II despite total propaganda and control.

Didn’t we do that a couple of years ago? Labor participation still isn’t where it needs to be despite the unemployment rate.

How bad does it have to get?

Exactly my point, when it comes to ‘Where was the RNC/GOP???’

I know POTUS commended Ronna McDaniel, but, I think EVERY RNC/GOP head should be replaced, starting with Ronna, where states failed or nearly failed their Republican candidates (AZ, TX, GA, FL, MT, for example).

Time for a total revamp, INCLUDING YOUR EXCELLENT POINT that we don’t even have a message we’re selling.

Why didn’t we educate, er, remind EVERY state about the greatness of America...and, that that is why you see droves of people trying to get in. You don’t see them lining up to get into any other country, like you do America.

And, what has made America great? Hard work, family values, pride in a job well done, FREEDOMS that have been hard fought for, over our country’s lifespan.

So much amazing history and truths to tell/remind folks about...especially since they’re NOT learning this in our schools (citizens OR illegals). So much to work with. I’ve wondered why Bannon, with his production background, wasn’t hired to produce infomercials on all of this, leading up to the midterms. Don’t just buy ad time, buy half hours of time on Telemundo, FakeNews media, etc. Relying on social media, alone, to spread a message obviously ain’t cutting it.

Trump did his level best to carry these candidates over the finish line. He had NO real help, AFAICT, from the RNC. Not based on information we had from 2016 and going into these midterms.

Now, you have to throw out Zero. He was sui generis. There will never be another Obama because there can only be one “first black president.”

Except Obama was a middle/upper class kid from Hawaii and had Kenyan father. That is as far as you can get from an authentic black American experience. He does not have slavery in his family tree. Other than his white mother, of course. The first more typical black experience candidate will resonate just as much as the kenyan, unfortunately.

If you’re 100,000 votes behind towards the end of election day and then someone comes up with 110,000 neatly packaged, unverified votes, you go from losing to winning.

That’s how the democrats win.

Not really. Dems out work the GOP. Over and over. Look at Nevada. It’s basically Las Vegas that decides the state. The Dims have a tremendous machine there and they just put the work it and grind out wins.

I want to ask every illegal I see, in the grocery store, nail salon, doctor’s office (yes, they are EVERYWHERE, now)....

It really is shocking. Every little village I visit in rural Georgia and SC has obvious short little wetbacks crawling around all over the place. These are the unwashed dirt farmers from central America. Certainly not their best people.

It seems obvious the first task of Pelosi and Schumer in the new Congress will be trying to goad POTUS into more tax increases. I’m starting to get a lot of 1992 flashbacks. A LOT.

I don’t care how tall/short they are, I don’t care what type of hard work they’ve done...I just want them to come here LEGALLY!!

It sickens me, to NO end, seeing the masses here....living the life of Riley....shopping for the best foods, attending great schools, receiving exceptional healthcare, going to the same local salons, etc, that I do....ALL ON OUR TAX $$.

If they’re shopping and going to the salon during the day, with their brood of kids and grandma’s, when are they working?? I have a feeling they are NOT! Not this many, who I see during day hours, not working.

Stop the flow of freebies and we’ll stop the flow of illegals.

I agree. While I don’t particularly like federal solutions to things that are a state issue, I’m thinking there needs to be some type of voter ID credential designed to be tamper proof and to guarantee one-eligible-citizen one-vote.

I’m no lawyer but it seems an equal protection/due process argument could be made for a national voter ID.

There’s no way to really combat fraud once votes are tabulated due to secret ballot. You can only respond to it and try to find out who signed the poll book and voted when they weren’t supposed to. The best way to stop it is before it starts.

Precisely why I said it wasn't the only reason, but rather, "a" reason.

"But you will NEVER win a national race on tax cuts alone, or as a primary factor."

“Name the GOP’s “product.” You can’t. They don’t have one.”

That is why I put a lot of blame on Paul Ryan. Newt tried to give them issues to run on in this election and how to go about it but Ryan would no listen. I am so glad he is gone.

I agree but Bozo spent most of his time campaigning at colleges in North Texas. What worried me was that just before the election the news was that there were 3 to 4 million illegals that were registered to vote. Probably from the same area you mentioned.

No, it has to be “for a reason...” a better argument as to NOW why making America great again is a GOOD thing, how it benefits them.

Okay, that's like asking "why make Chinese great again." If you don't understand the language, and can't tell one squiggle from another, then why care if Chinese is a great language or not.

If I accept the supposition that the high-knowledge answer of appealing to American Exceptionalism, the Great Experiment, individualism, self-reliance and consent of the governed is beyond the ken of your target millennial, then the low-knowledge answer becomes this:

Follow it up with:

You live here in America, not somewhere else.

Tell them:

Don't be fooled by socialism's promise to care for you. Look around you... the Democrats aren't promising to care for YOU, they are promising all the foreigners of the world that YOU will care for THEM, that YOUR children will care for THEIR children.

Ask them: Is THAT what you want? Is THAT what you signed up for?

Making America great again is good for YOU because it will pay you for YOUR resources, teach and employ YOUR child, put food on YOUR table, heat YOUR house, fix YOUR roads, care for YOUR needs first, and take away THEIR power to starve you by cutting you off from the things you need to survive.

From what I read yesterday Ryan did little but keep the Speaker’s seat warm before he bugged out of town. The NY Times reported he raised and gave less money to GOP candidates than the average freshman Democrat raised for themselves. Only $1.4 million. Just pathetic.

“The GOP has a massive branding/image problem that goes way, way beyond “diversity” or running “black/Hispanic/women” candidates.

It took me a while to get this, but in essence, the GOP’s marketing approach is about 30 years behind.”

absolutely- i was hopeful they would change after 2006 but they are beyong brain dead...

Remember- all this BLEXIT and the improved JA for Donald Trump by blacks is solely due to this president- it has NOTHING to do with the GOP or GOPe...

this is the stupid party that consistently turned its back on spectacular black conservatives like Alan West...they pay no attention to a godsend like Candace Owns- thankful our president knows better...
