Yes, this the template for confiscation of firearms. It will be low key at first, with a few examples of what happens when one *resists*, followed by wholesale nighttime no knock raids and murders in the name of the state.
The family called and ordered the removal of the firearms.
You are exactly right. Examples are being set as we speak. Sure now they can say, hey he was a bad guy, but soon that part will change too.

“Cops will ALWAYS follow their orders. They are no friend of America.”
You are 100% correct.
You are correct. There have been 14 confiscations, each based on a court order, all pursuant to a recently enacted state law. It appears the state believed it important to pass the legislature which is exercised at the request of family or police, and it appears there is indeed a "due process" hearing.
If so, law enforcement ought to consider anyone deemed incapable of responsibly possessing firearms as a special case and be able to immediately incapacitate him or her prior to any problem. This is along the lines of trying to take away red meat from a pitbull.
Whaddia' think of my new tagline? (/snort)
The man and the cop were struggling for the gun and it fired. After the gun fired, Another cop then shot the man.
But, the family ordered the removal of the firearm under the new ERPO law (Extreme Risk Protective Order)

Time to challenge Constitutionality of this law?
The family called and ordered the removal of the firearms.
Awesome. Accusation, no trial, no facts, judgement made and carried out. Sounds correct for a constitutional republic......my what a slippery slope we are on.
STOP RESISTING !!!!!!
Based on what we know it seems like an appropriate shooting. If some would search the Internet they would find that a judge lawfully issued the order based on a complaint from the mans sister. The police involved acted appropriately based on what I have read.
The larger questions are whether or not the law is appropriate and what are the standards necessary for the issuance of such an order, in other words did the court act appropriately. There is nothing that I can find as to why the order was instituted by the judge.
I know people who will respond to a no knock raid with a 50 Beowulf double tap or perhaps emptying an AR10 in 7.62x51 in a couple of seconds.
The current army has some men and women with alcohol issues.
The nazis tried that defense at the Nuremburg trials.
I really hate to say it but it appears that is has come time to shoot those “only obeying orders”
His family had him offed by the cops...
They are agents of the state, as opposed to a simple citizen.
