So I've been thoroughly enjoying the Total Meltdown amongst the Left. I have some college pals who are Northeastern liberals and they're going totally apesh*t about Brett Kavanaugh having been confirmed as SCOTUS Associate Justice.
One of them (who is a total blowhard yet I'm friends with him because we have like 50 mutual friends and have known each other since 1985) asks the following question: "Serious question for my RW friends: What are your top 3 cases youd like to see the court hear and what result are you hoping for? Adult-type responses only....all others will be deleted."
I have not answered because I'm afraid that he'll hate my adult-type responses and they'll just make way too much sense. In true FR Fashion, I'd like your input to make this as fun and hilarious as possible. He's an a**.
Thanks!

Supremes can’t do that, even though I agree with you on the issue.
The big one would be Obamacare.
That one was one of the biggest where the court rewrote the law.
What was it again? A tax or a penalty? What a joke the court made of itself that day.
Then the income tax. Does it overrule the original ruling in the 1800s concerning that.
Was that amendment actually really ratified legally? I have seen some writings to the contrary on that amendment.

Ban all gun laws that “infringe” upon the right to own and bear personal arms of any type at any time or place.
ROFLMAO!
Liberal college pal
Fraternizing with the enemy is about as bad as it gets.
.
Don’t forget the “FDA” and “FTC.”
They do the most harm by far.
If we had a post of the day category, that would be it :)
Hysterical.
I’d prefer tax deductibility of private school tuition. Vouchers turn into strings the government uses to require schools to do what liberal bullies want. Look at Catholic school in Ireland forced to admit non-Catholics, British private schools forced to go along with LGBT agendas and British Jewish schools told you have to be neutral on same sex stuff.
I’d tell him that I really don’t care what case as long as they judge and not legislate and strictly follow the constitution as its written.
I read that while Kavanaugh is against overreach by the Feds, he did agree that obamacare was presented correctly to Congress as part of tax law.
It sounds like he will follow the Constitution - but remember that the folks that dream up this crap are also finding all of the loopholes to get their stuff through.
Kavanaugh has ruled against the individual mandate - so if that gets taken out, then obamacare would be on the ropes.

Phrase the question, "Support Roe v Wade...to add:
...even though it would mean youyourself would be aborted....
Thank you!
I had FDA in there.
I think that something like the FTC might be a bit legit since it’s really something that the Founding Fathers couldn’t really have imagined, but really maybe just a subcommittee of contgress charged with auctioning off the spectrum for the best benefit of the taxpayers, and it seems there would be some need for making sure that emergency and military communications were unimpeded... But it certainly no business of any politician what is broadcast or listened to.
“The state seizing property using immanent domain.”
Keloe
I suspect that he’s looking for *Overturn Roe*.
Don’t give it to him.
Why? Cause that’s what they are all convinced this is all about.
Even if you want it, give him something else.
FWIW, I’d be thrilled with that. As a start.
I’d like to see a lot more SCOTUS decisions overturned and sent back to the states where they belong.
What is the impact of First Amendment as it relates to gay weddings and bakers, photographers, etc.?
Result: You’re not discriminating against a person, you have the right to have a conscientious objection to an event and not be forcefully, by the power of the State, required to enter into a contract to work on it.
Overturn Wickard v. Filburn. Half the federal government would be gone without that decision declaring that nearly every action affects interstate commerce and thus is subject to federal regulation.

I agree. That ridiculous decision VASTLY expanded the reach of the Commerce Clause. It would be best that a case challenging this decision not be pursued until another two Trump appointees.
>Eliminate womens suffrage. The suffrage too much.<
I believe in a decade—or hopefully much less—this will come to be.
Feminism and Ford have ruined sane political discourse.
Because of radical feminism more and more male employers are refusing to hire women. And women have brought this on themselves. It is truly a shame to waste so much talent out there simply because talented women have become too scattered and hysterical to be a sane risk factor for men to have in their offices and workplaces.
Women are, in all too many cases, totally unfair to women who play by the rules in a moral and ethical manner.
Multiply a few crazy women in politics and they have demonstrated they are too crazy in general to have the power of the vote.
