Methodology: This is a list of the most popular fast food chains in the United States, according to Yelp. All the businesses on this list are in the Fast Food category on Yelp and a part of a national or regional chain. Best is measured using an algorithm that looks at the number of reviews and star rating for a business.
Notable stats: The most popular fast food chain that showed up as the winner in the most states was Blaze Fast-Fired Pizza with 10 states. At a close second was MOD Pizza, which topped the charts of 9 states. Hanging onto third was national-favorite Chick-fil-A with 8 states. There were only two other chains to win more than one states title: Five Guys with 3 states and Jersey Mikes Subs with 2 states.

No doubt Chick-fil-A is becoming an Iowa favorite.
And it's very unlikely they actually did any actual research. These clickbait articles mostly done by some guy who spews out article after article, making stuff up as needed.
Eleven restaurants in the entire state, most of them near Cleveland. Someone is just making stuff up now.
That’s nothin’. Iowa’s supposed favorite has just four locations in the state.
I live in Connecticut and never even heard of the place they have at number one (some kind of hot dog stand). Also, never heard of MOD pizza or Blaze Fast Fired pizza and most of the others mentioned here.
