Culver’s might be the most popular *burger*, based on customer satisfaction, but it doesn’t have the religious devotion of Maid-Rite.

No doubt Chick-fil-A is becoming an Iowa favorite.

The whole article is just a scam to get people to click 50 times on their website.

And it's very unlikely they actually did any actual research. These clickbait articles mostly done by some guy who spews out article after article, making stuff up as needed.

Swensons Drive-In When Ohioans crave a burger, they’re not stopping by a McDonald’s drive-thru. Famous for their award-winning burgers, Swenson’s has doubles, triples, and quarter-and half-pounders to satisfy your cheeseburger needs. And if you don’t want a bun, they also have sandwiches, salads, and soups.

Eleven restaurants in the entire state, most of them near Cleveland. Someone is just making stuff up now.

That’s nothin’. Iowa’s supposed favorite has just four locations in the state.

I live in Connecticut and never even heard of the place they have at number one (some kind of hot dog stand). Also, never heard of MOD pizza or Blaze Fast Fired pizza and most of the others mentioned here.

Carl Karcher of Carl’s Jr. lived across the street from my grandparents...and the reason he needed the extra profits, he had 14 children, but as a good Catholic, he also needed to give lots of money to the Catholic church!

What did they have for Texas? My browser can’ handle the web page. (The correct answer would be Whataburger)

1. Alabama

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, Birmingham

The Heart of Dixie is home to this artisanal pizza shop that fires up build-your-own pies in just 180 seconds. Grab a slice and say hello to Executive Chef Bradford Kent, lovingly known as “The Pizza Whisperer,” on your next craving kick.

2. Alaska

Top Bop, Anchorage

This Asian-fusion, one-stop-shop caters to hungry Anchoragers’ cravings for under ten bucks. The esteemed Korean spot serves up authentic dishes such as Bibim Bop and allows you to customize your meal to your desired level of spiciness.

3. Arizona

MOD Pizza, Tempe

Shopping works up quite the appetite, which is why folks visiting the Tempe Marketplace love taking a lunch break at Mod. Whether you prefer crafting your own pizza or choosing from a pre-selected menu, Mod has the pie for you. The national pizza chain stocks scrumptious unlimited toppings and beer on tap.

4. Arkansas

David’s Burgers, Conway

”The burgers are first-rate,” Yelper John M. raves. “The menu is small and focused and all of the choices are appealing … For under ten bucks you get a big generous burger made to order, a drink, and fries … This is a Lourdes of Fries. They are skin-on, real-deal, freshly made fries. Failure to overindulge is an act of willful negligence. If you are in central Arkansas and see one of these, zip in for a real treat.”

5. California

Dairy Queen, San Diego

DQ’s fan food is a serious favorite in San Diego. But despite the served-upside-down Blizzards being a big winner, SoCal residents rave over the friendly staff, accommodating customer service—a fast food enigma—and the Creamsicle-like Orange Julius.

6. Colorado

MOD Pizza, Centennial

If you’re paying a visit to the 880-acre reservoir in Cherry Creek State Park or taking a stroll through the ecological park, don’t miss out on Mod in Centennial. You can pile your pie high with artichokes, a handful of different cheeses, pineapple, red onions, and even balsamic vinaigrette.

7. Connecticut

Frankie’s Hot Dogs, Waterbury

You can’t go wrong with a juicy hotdog sandwiched in a fresh, fluffy bun, and Frankie’s does dogs best in Waterbury. The joint lets you have fun with your order by turning a specialty dog into a specialty burger and pairing the frankfurter with a side of seasoned curly fries. You can even order up a helping of fried zucchini, but we can’t guarantee the greasy veggie will alleviate any guilt.

8. Delaware

El Diablo Burritos, Wilmington

For a taco and Tex-Mex fix on the run, El Diablo Burritos has got you covered with a glorious selection of burrito, bowl, and taco fixings including sherry-cured onions, short rib, pepper jack cheese, and pineapple habanero salsa. This Delaware devil’s got nothing on Chipotle.

9. Florida

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, Orlando

Much like Mod, Blaze also offers unlimited toppings for a set price. The chain offers high-rise crust for those who like a bit more fluff, thin crust for the carb-averse, and a plethora of meats, veggies, and cheeses are added before the pie gets popped into a blazing hot oven.

10. Georgia

gusto!, Atlanta

If you’re short on time and need a quick and healthy meal, gusto! is your go-to. The global-cuisine-inspired fast-casual offers simple yet flavorful menu options including grilled proteins and spiced veggies so you can build a bowl, salad, or flatbread wrap. The joint prides itself on bringing its “food to life with freshness and flavor, not fat.”

11. Hawaii

Coconuts Fish Cafe, Kihei

The pristine island of Maui is home to Coconuts Fish Cafe, which serves up the best fish and chips and fish tacos on the subcontinent. Frequenters get their fried fare fully-loaded with mango salsa and shoestring fries.

12. Idaho

Boise Fry Company, Boise

We’re not surprised that the birthplace of Idaho potatoes houses this Boise favorite, which is known for its plethora of unique French fries from the buttery Laura to the purple and yam and the classic Russet. Boise Fry Company adorns its savory spuds with a selection of exclusive homemade seasonings, spritzers, and sauces.

13. Illinois

Chick-fil-A, Fairview Heights

The Home of the Original Chicken Sandwich is a serious fan favorite in the Prairie State, and this Fairview Heights location’s exceptional customer service sets itself apart. But let’s not kid ourselves: people keep coming back because the joint does poultry perfectly.

14. Indiana

MOD Pizza, Indianapolis

Indianapolis Yelper and veggie lover April A. raves about Mod Pizza’s unlimited toppings and special attention to food sensitivities. “I ordered the MOD crust build-your-own with BBQ base, dairy-free cheese (score!), artichokes, fresh basil, pineapple, olives, roasted red peppers, with a dash of dried oregano. The woman helping build my pizza was very accommodating to the dairy sensitivity I have and used tongs as she put the cheese on my pizza. Thank you MOD for understanding how much this means to someone with a sensitivity!” she says.

15. Iowa

Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza, Des Moines

”I really love that they don’t charge you more for extra cheese or doing things the way you’d like them,” Rob P. states. “The staff is always friendly and fast-paced … If salad is your choice, they have great ones here. They also feature seasonal changes that can make your choices even richer.”

16. Kansas

MOD Pizza, Olathe

Christyn C. swears that this Olathe-based Mod’s fare is as pleasing as its staff. “The pizza is delicious, fresh, and hot! Cooked in a wood fire oven it is cooked to your likeness after it is made before your eyes with the freshest delicious ingredients! The service was TOP notch. We will return… over and over. We had the Issac and the Madog (two types of pizzas) and Tuesday is tap beer for $2! Such a great experience.”

17. Kentucky

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, Louisville

Like Alabama, Iowa, and Florida, Kentucky prefers pizza over fried chicken. You can find this hotspot in Kentucky’s largest city.

18. Louisiana

Chicken Shack, Baton Rouge

You bet that Louisville’s capital city does traditional soul food best. In fact, Chicken Shack is so overwhelmingly good that one Yelper created a praiseful poem about the joint: Chicken Shack is far from whack; They batter their chicken to crisp it up jack; Its juicy and bursting with flavor galore; After 4 tasty pieces I still wanted more; Its reddish complexion is oh so alluring; The crack of the skin has this yelper straight purring,” Austin F. writes, finishing it off with “I’m pumped that I found you and yes I’ll be back; To sample more treats from the famed Chicken Shack.”

19. Maine

Chick-fil-A, Bangor

If you’re paying a visit to Stephen King’s birthplace or driving through Bangor en route to Acadia, you’ll want to grab a chicken sandwich for the road. No matter where you stop, you can always count on Chick-fil-A to deliver perfectly seasoned and crisp poultry whether it’s on a buttered bun, a biscuit, or a bed of greens.

20. Maryland

Five Guys, Owings Mills

Five Guys’ menu remained simple yet flexible ever since its debut in 1986. The burger joint offers up some of the freshest burgers around as well as stringy fries and mouthwatering milkshakes.

21. Massachusetts

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, Cambridge

”It’s a great deal price-wise. The pizza is loaded up with anything you want—lots of meat, cheese, and vegetable choices. It comes out tasting so good. The crust is delicious, and the pizza cooks really well for the perfect amount of time—I don’t know how they do it (it’s magic),” Nikolai K. acclaims.

22. Michigan

Good Burger, East Dearborn

It turns out that two doltish teens don’t have to save Good Burger after all—the burger joint is the top fast food restaurant in East Dearborn. Three brothers opened up the shop at a local gas station before expanding.

23. Minnesota

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, Minneapolis

Minneapolis is only one of ten cities that rated Blaze #1, so we know their pizza is off the chain. One Yelper chose to highlight another aspect we love about the chain: “What is the finishing touch for me (and ultimately pushing Blaze up to five stars) is their commitment to sustainability and low-waste production. Their silverware, cups, lids, and straws are all made out of plant products. I feel that these initiatives often go unnoticed or overlooked, but I really appreciate the effort that goes into keeping products as sustainable as possible and I will be returning,” Katie Z. points out.

24. Mississippi

Burrito Zone & Tamales, Diberville

Instead of hitting up your local Chipotle, Burrito Zone serves up build-your-own burritos, tamales, nachos, and quesadillas with proteins such as chicken, steak, and pork, as well as homemade tres leches cake for dessert. The only downside? The guac costs extra.

25. Missouri

Chick-fil-A

Need to grab a bite on the go? Rose B. raves about how this Joplin Chick-fil-A’s service is A+. “I want to take a minute to remark on the drive-thru. This Chick-fil-A has the fastest drive-thru of any drive-thru I have ever been in. At this location, they have two lanes in which you may order your food and they come together to form one line … From the time we ordered our food to the time we received our food was less than six minutes.”

26. Montana

Five on Black

Five on Black proves that fast food can also be healthy with its clean, Brazilian-inspired bowls. Choose from bases like brown rice and greens, top it with protein-rich rotisserie chicken or opt for Brazil’s national stew, and then drizzle it with spicy chimichurri or go the traditional route with smoky farofa.

27. Nebraska

Potbelly Sandwich Shop

Although Potbelly’s turkey club made it on our list of worst fast food sandwiches, the sub shop has plenty of customizable and “skinny” hoagies, such as the umami-packed Mushroom Melt and the option to pair the ‘wich with a side of warm soup.

28. Nevada

MOD Pizza

Pro tip: “I love to create my own combination of an extreme veggie lover. I prefer the roasted broccoli as a topping towards the end of the line, but that roasted veggie changes with the seasons,” Stephanie P. shares.

29. New Hampshire

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza

Folks in Nashua go crazy over the custom-built pies at Blaze. If you’re looking for a slice that’s easy on your waistline, we recommend ordering the Veg Out—which dollops rather than slathers red sauce over the crust—or the Art Lover, which screams Sicily in every bite.

30. New Jersey

MOD Pizza

Another Mod pizza takes the cake—er, pie—as the top spot in Jersey. Ever since this location opened doors in fall 2017, it’s served customizable pizzas and salads to please all sorts of taste buds.

31. New Mexico

Chick-fil-A

Known for its blend of Mexican and Native American cultures, you’d think that the top fast-food chain in the Land of Enchantment is Chipotle. But it turns out that Chick-fil-A is the reigning fast food chain from Santa Fe to Albuquerque.

32. New York

by CHLOE

The metropolis is brimming with plenty of dining destinations people are dying to knock off their bucket list, but when New Yorkers gotta eat, they’ll go for fast-casual cuisine and pop over to by CHLOE. 33. North Carolina

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza

Firehouse Subs

The Dakotas are known for loving hearty fare, so it’s only natural that their favorite quick bite is a sub layered with deli meats, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and other tasty toppings.

35. Ohio

Swensons Drive-In

When Ohioans crave a burger, they’re not stopping by a McDonald’s drive-thru. Famous for their award-winning burgers, Swenson’s has doubles, triples, and quarter-and half-pounders to satisfy your cheeseburger needs. And if you don’t want a bun, they also have sandwiches, salads, and soups.

38. Pennsylvania

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza

Surprise: Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza is on the list again. Folks in the Keystone state would rather dig into a pie than go for one of their Philly cheesesteaks.

39. Rhode Island

Jersey Mike’s Subs

If Rhode Islanders get sick of their clam bakes and stuffies (giant quahog clams stuffed with bread and spices), they’ll go for grinders—aka their version of a sub—loaded with salami, pepperoni, provolone, tomato, lettuce, and onion.

Chick-fil-A

Whether it’s the crispy waffle fries or the original chicken sandwich, folks from Charleston to Columbia love their Chick-fil-A.

Chick-fil-A

45. Vermont

Archies Grill

In the land of maple syrup and cheddar, you’d think that a pizza parlor would top their list. But when they want fast food, people in Vermont stop at Archie’s Grill, where you’ll find a variety of American dishes, like chili, New England clam chowder, chicken wings, hot dogs, and burgers.

46. Virginia

Five Guys

Despite the plethora of burger joints out there, Five Guys reigns supreme in Virginia. They can’t get enough of the tasty fries, burgers, hot dogs, and shakes.

MOD Pizza

Just like its neighbor, Oregon, Washingtonians like dining at MOD Pizza for their delicious selection of pies and toppings.

People in West Virginia like to keep things simple when it comes to fast food, so if they want a meal to-go, Jersey Mike’s Subs is an easy roadside stop that allows them to customize their sandwiches.

49. Wisconsin

MOD Pizza

Again, no surprise here that the country’s top dairy producer likes cheese with their pizza, and they can get it at MOD’s.

50. Wyoming

Chick-fil-A

Even in the Cowboy state, they prefer Chick-fil-A over their ubiquitous game meats and stream-caught trout.

You can thank me for posiing the list later :-)
