No. Having been a hostage at one point in your life will not be a valid reason for the Los Angeles Sheriff to issue a CCW license to BunnySlippers. I am sure the reason given would be “lightning doesn’t strike twice”.
The left is evil. They don’t follow logic like the fact that someone traumatized by crime given the opportunity to feel the safety of carrying a firearm. The commie rat left wants us disarmed. There is no logic to counter that.

That is very unlikely in LA County. There is no ongoing personal threat. of the 58 CA counties, LA is one of 9 whose “standard is “Virtually no Issue!” Equally interesting is that of the 1697 murders committed in CA in 2015, 526 were committed in LA County, 110 in neighboring San Bernardino County, 93 in Riverside county and 74 in San Diego County. Of these, only San Diego is a no issue county, so I guess their murder problem is mainly concentrated in the areas where these counties abut LA County. Doing the numbers, that’s 47% of the murders in the entire state! The other interesting stat is the counties where you can get a CCW for the asking, 8 had NO MURDERS at all, and a total of 36 of the 58 had less than ten each.
