The American left has many distorted views of the world. Their panting salivating joy over the now seemingly endless list of companies that have withdrawn discounts from NRA members is just the latest example of its social maladjustment.
The lefts everyday lives serve as a reminder that merely living in America and even being born in America doesnt make one truly an American. They might live in America, but they are not Americans.
They dont understand the laws and customs we Americans follow nor do they want to; ignorance of, and separation from, American culture has become point of pride to these people. They see themselves as citizens of the world as some have actually said.
This is what makes these corporate discount withdrawals so foolish. They have no up side for the companies but plenty of down side. So why do they do these things?
Why would they follow an 18 year old who is the media anointed leader of the Democrats, a party which is largely out of step with America already?
Let that sink in: The Democrat party is now being led by an 18 year- old child who is so drunk with power he has threatened The NRA, FEDEX and UPS. He has called for a boycott of Florida by Spring breakers and actually said I will not allow Governor Scott to remove Sheriff Israel.
This brings us back to the discount discontinuations.
Does anybody even know anybody who joined NRA for the discounts? Of course not. Ive been a life member for at least ten years and never once thought about accessing a discount from any of the cowardly companies that have joined the attacks on the NRA.
Im sure Im not alone in this position. That the left sees the NRA as a shopping club while we know it is a civil rights organization is a clear example of the difference between us and them.
The left doesnt live in the world we NRA members and supporters live in. They have no idea how we live. They have never travel through rural America and spoken to the people who elected Donald Trump.
They and the cowardly companies that have fallen in line behind a child dont realize that we will merely stay elsewhere, fly with different carriers, be insured by others and live our lives as we always have.
The corporate cowards are the ones who will lose customers who will not come back. They should ask the NFL about that. They will be left to offer discounts to the far left who dont live the lives that caused these companies to offer us discounts in the first place.
When they come to their senses they will be left with a mess children dont clean up after themselves; and we will still be supporting the NRA. We will be stronger and so will the NRA.
I’ve belonged to the NRA for years and I didn’t even know there were NRA discounts until this latest controversy.
NRA membership numbers are climbing as a result.
The NRA couldn’t run their best ad and get that much response.
I guess we could thank the insane RATs for increasing NRA memberships.
RATS are the best gun salesmen in the world.
I travel a lot for work. Just packed for another trip a few minutes ago.
I’ve never once used NRA discounts.
I sent a letter to National/Enterprise Car Rental yesterday. I spent over $1000 on a rental car two weeks ago. I told them the decision making skills of their upper management is totally suspect and went through the litany of wrongs that were done to these children and the shooter by Broward Sheriff, FBI and school administration. I then asked just where the NRA came in to play.
I expect crickets.
Discounts? I’ve been had!!!!!
“RATS are the best gun salesmen in the world.” ...and Obama is still at the head of the pack.
Never! But I do thank these companies for outing themselves and their politics. Now I know who to avoid.
No.
It’s like AAA. When I get my yearly bill I’m always surprised at the discounts they offer. That’s not why we join.
I joined for the all you can eat buffet.
Received and email this morning from NRA suggesting a 30percent discount if you sign up even though I’ve been a member for years.
I’ll bet a car rental company will step up and offer an NRA discount, and their business will take a giant leap upward.
I am sure you are correct, few join the NRA for discounts, and I suspect our leftist enemy knows this. What it is about, however, is momentum and press coverage. By having “Corporate America” join in the rampage against the NRA, along with the onslaught of fake news blasting out new headlines every day, what our enemy achieves is an APPARENT huge growth in the momentum of the anti gun forces. My local “newspapers” are plastering their pages daily with a local student here or there who is “demanding” gun control. Doesn’t matter whether there is a single grain of truth in the story, they are giving the appearance of a huge public groundswell which does not exist.
i joined the NRA because of the discount.
they discounted the life membership, and i joined...
something like half off... the membership, not my life.
hehehe
Same here.
Not me.
I renew and decline the gifts.
I have better knives and duffel bags anyway.
Their stuff isn’t bad nor are the products in Their magazine but, I already have better stuff.
As for discounts, I never knew about them until this controversy...
I apologize. I have never used an NRA discount except at gun shows.
My bad.

I’ve been a Life Member since 1980 and have never been aware of these discounts.
I never use them (probably should). But of course, regardless it’s a matter of principal with me re these gutless cowardly companies. Although it is good to see them exposed for what they are... Will definitely impact who I do business with in the future.
I’m with you. My dad bought me an NRA membership when I was 12 (50 years ago) and started hunting. I’ve never let that membership lapse, I’m now a Benefactor Life Member and I’ve never used an NRA discount for anything.
