If you feel you must have a pocket pistol on you at all times the LCP is okay. However, it simply has the worlds worst trigger. Best to think of it as a contact weapon. Just my $.02.

I carry the Bersa Thunder .380. I find it fits my small hands better than most.

Sig 238 carried in front pocket, wearing jeans or slacks to the office. It’s my daily carry piece too!

Forget the S&W Bodyguard mine is back to the factory for the second time for repair. It will not be my everyday carry when I get it back.

Kahr is good. That said, my wife has a Glock 42 and it is best of breed. Accept no substitutes.

There are .380ACP platforms for pocket carry and belt/holster carry. So, I guess it depends on how you carry the firearm.

I like the Glock 42 a lot, but it is not that practical for pocket carry (but it is perfect for belt or appendix carry).

For belt/holster carry the Bersa Thunder is just fine.

The Ruger LCP and the Kel Tec P3AT (upon which the Ruger LCP is based) are great pocket carries.

The Ruger LCP II is great and priced right. It’s even pretty accurate and shoot’s tight groups. The trigger (for a micro) is actually excellent. That probably accounts for the tight groups.

I found the ruger LC380 to be the best pocket 380 I have shot. It has decent sights, and is heavy enough to improve the shooting experience. It is essentially a 9mm pocket gun rechambered to 380

My LCP has at least as good a trigger as my Shield - which I sold. The LCP was designed for use at bad breath range. It is an excellent pocket pistol. Not much as a range gun.

Prefer a 38 revolver, but they take up more space.
