You can find them for less than $400.
These days you can browse the web and find tons of good quality .380 handguns for sale for under $400, but if youre not familiar with the market. You wont know which .380s are the best.
The .380 has been known to have the ability to effectively stop an attacker yet small enough to comfortably carry for long periods.
Which makes it a popular choice for many concealed carriers.
Without further adieu here are the top five .380 handguns under $400 for men and women.
Ruger LCP
With its smooth compact design, its a great choice for long term carries. This Ruger has a low-profile sight and compatible with integrated lasers helps increase accuracy. With 6 in the magazine + 1 in the pipe gives you plenty of shots.
Kahr CW3833
This is a smooth double action .380, the offset barrel and ergonomic grips gives the shooter better control.
Smith & Wesson Bodyguard
Maybe one of the most dependable .380 on the market at such an affordable price. Features includes 6+1 magazine, integrated laser sights for accurate shot placement and polymer grips. Read the rest of the best .380 semi-auto handguns here. What are some other .380 handguns would you use?
I LOVE my Sig P238
Yep...and my G42.
Seconds on the Sig. Mine is carried in my front pocket, how about you?
In before the .45acp snobs.
Oh boy pre Xmas gun porn! Love my S&W bodyguard. Mine is W/O laser. Out the door new paid $315 a couple of years ago.
If you feel you must have a pocket pistol on you at all times the LCP is okay. However, it simply has the worlds worst trigger. Best to think of it as a contact weapon. Just my $.02.
I carry the Bersa Thunder .380. I find it fits my small hands better than most.
Sig 238 carried in front pocket, wearing jeans or slacks to the office. Its my daily carry piece too!
Forget the S&W Bodyguard mine is back to the factory for the second time for repair. It will not be my everyday carry when I get it back.
Yup, have one of those, too.
The same way, although sometimes in my little Sig kydex.
Kahr is good. That said, my wife has a Glock 42 and it is best of breed. Accept no substitutes.
There are .380ACP platforms for pocket carry and belt/holster carry. So, I guess it depends on how you carry the firearm.
I like the Glock 42 a lot, but it is not that practical for pocket carry (but it is perfect for belt or appendix carry).
For belt/holster carry the Bersa Thunder is just fine.
The Ruger LCP and the Kel Tec P3AT (upon which the Ruger LCP is based) are great pocket carries.
The Ruger LCP II is great and priced right. It’s even pretty accurate and shoot’s tight groups. The trigger (for a micro) is actually excellent. That probably accounts for the tight groups.
Beretta Tomcat with Hydra-shocks.
My LCP has at least as good a trigger as my Shield - which I sold. The LCP was designed for use at bad breath range. It is an excellent pocket pistol. Not much as a range gun.
Prefer a 38 revolver, but they take up more space.
I’ve owned the Walther PPKS in .380....it was too small for my hand....sold it.
