To start with the conclusion, President Trump is long overdue in firing his Attorney General Jeff Sessions and there are quite a few reasons for that. The thing is, Sessions has become a liability to Trump’s administration rather than an asset and, more than that, he’s become a liability to the United States. That’s why he needs to go, the sooner, the better.
It is true that both Republicans and Democrats threatened the President they will not confirm a new AG provided Jeff Sessions is given the boot. However, Trump can name an interim AG for an undetermined period of time, and that would solve the issue with an uncooperative Senate, at least until the midterm elections in 2018 when the RINOs will be ousted (hopefully).
Moving on with the story, the main problem with Jeff Sessions is that he refuses to investigate one of the biggest scandals in America’s history and definitely the biggest of our time: the Uranium One deal, which is completely owned by Barack Obama’s administration. Then secretary of state Hillary Clinton agreed (among others) to sell twenty percent of America’s uranium reserves to Russia, which is now touted by DEMs as public enemy number one. Hillary specifically signed off on the deal, i.e. she approved the sale of Uranium One to a Kremlin backed company.

Reports are that Jeff Sessions offered his resignation back in May, and Trump wouldn’t accept it. If that’s true, then let’s just stop the nonsense about what’s wrong with Jeff Sessions.

I’m excited and hopeful we’re all going to be relieved and justice is coming soon.
Trump’s too comfortable with Sessions for some justice not to be coming.
Jeff is not a show boat. He is quiet.

Like everyone else, I have been mystified as to what Sessions is doing, or not doing, but even more mystified that President Trump is doing nothing about Sessions. It’s hard to believe Trump is okay with the inaction of Sessions, which is making me think maybe JS is investigating without announcing anything. I’ve read there are a lot of sealed indictments, I am wondering if maybe they are for Clinton, Inc. Wishful thinking? Yes. Is it possible? I guess. Probable? Uuugh....I’m not putting $ on it, but the longer it goes with nothing out of the AG’s Office, the more I wonder.

How is it mystifying? The swamp said there would be hell to pay if Trump fired Sessions or mueller(impeachment). Sessions is refusing to step down and refusing to do his job.

for a start:
-he is a big government fascist who feels the government is entitled to steal and ruin people’s livelihood without due process.
-he is a cowardly establishmentarian who cannot handle the simplest requirements of his job and thus loosed an out-of-control special prosecutor who threatens to overturn our democratically elected government.
-he is a shrill scold who lectures and condescends to the very citizen’s whose work has supported him for his adult life.
-he is a hypocrite who calls himself a conservative while trying to use the federal government to overturn the will of the people as expressed through their state governments and in their private lives.
...but, I’m sure he is a sweetheart in his private life.

What you are seeing is a hologram/audio animatronic simulation of the man. Pretty realistic, huh?
Either he is wholly owned, or he is the best actor/player I’ve seen. When he speaks, he really does sound dumber than dirt, so it will be a real shocker if it’s been theater all along.
