If previous FBI history of jihad terror investigations is any indication, it’s that they are incompetent or complicit. Whatever their motives, they are deeply compromised, and clearly the worst agency to lead this Vegas investigation.
The Orlando jihadi who opened fire on gay nightclub revelers at the Pulse Nightclub called 911 during the attack and pledged his allegiance to the Islamic State. The FBI investigated the Orlando mass shooter for 10 months and found nothing.
The FBI was warned of the Muslim Boston bombers – multiple times – and did nothing. Their inaction led to the Boston Marathon bombings.
The FBI was in on the planning of the jihad attack against the Garland Muhammad art expo in Garland, Texas. They did nothing to stop it, not even giving us a warning that my event was targeted by devout Muslims who meant to kill us Charlie Hebdo-style. We killed those jihadis. It was the security team I hired to protect my event that saved numerous lives, nothing the FBI did. We survived in spite of the FBI.
The FBI was in on the planning of a Boston plot to behead me. They did not warn me or alert my security team. It was a Boston cop who killed one of the Muslims who had attacked the cop on his way to New York.
The ISIS plot to carry out mass shootings in Times Square, the NYC Subway and at music concerts reported yesterday actually took place this past June. All three were arrested months ago, but the FBI had it sealed. What else are they not telling us?

Pitiful.
Most people do not realize that current Special Prosecutor Mueller and former FBI Director Comey both held leadership positions in the original investigation of the anthrax letters that followed the World Trade Center destruction in 2001.
Both Mueller and Comey literally persecuted a completely innocent suspect for almost four years until the real anthrax perp was identified around 2005.
Richard Jewell and Dr. Stephen Hatfill were also wrongly targeted by the FBI.
Have they figured out where the shots were coming from yet? Talk about the keystone cops.
The department of matters lost the faith of this American long ago. I used to really look up to them.
How far away?
There is video I know of a female Bellagio employee talking about how an attacker shot at people there and was apparently shot dead before he was able to kill anyone.
They could have spared us years of mistakenly trusting their integrity if they had only named themselves straightforwardly without the preposition:

Localities are usually happy to let the FBI and US DOJ handle big investigations to relieve them of the cost.
It’s well known what a despicable Rat McCabe is so how the hell is allowed to run this? When it comes to the FBI and all the crap surrounding it at justice I don’t understand how little attention Trump seems to pay to it. This stuff is damn important.
3 acquaintances I have are married to LVMPD, Clark County Sheriff and Boulder City PD.
All three reporting FBI gag order. FBI has take over all aspects of the investigation. Everything, including communications with the public.
Yet, as far as we’ve been told there has been no Federal Crime committed:
Legal guns.
No explosives used, or bombs made.
No state lines crossed.
US Citizen perp with no priors.
Nothing here (that we have been told) besides State Murder and Assault charges.

There is most CERTAINLY something they know that they are not telling us. Based on past behavior it has nothing to do with catching accomplices.
