I fired one similar except it had more of a pistol grip. The recoil was brutal. Not for me at all.
Others seem to like them so I will not say not to try it. Maybe you will like it.
So is it a “handgun” or what? I’d put a shoulder stock on it myself. Like the abbreviated barrel for entertaining house guests.
Well, Better Home Defense and Gardens do recommend that you place your M18 Claymore mines on the outside of your house but if you are looking for a neo modern edgy renovation of your house complete with Jackson Pollock blood spatter art, then by all means set on up in yo crib...

I’ve got a Moss 500 - looks pretty similar.
Haven’t fired it yet. Don’t want to get it dirty, lol.
That thing will be tough on the wrists.
I’ll stick with my 16 inch model with a stock. Great shotgun, tho. For defense it’s better than an 870 in my opinion.

I’m not sure this is a great home defense gun or great any other way. Seems like a fad for something that hides easily under a coat, which is really more like what a criminal would want. Can’t shoulder it so it’s point and shoot from the waist only. I can do that with my mossberg 930 tactical or my Remington 870 tactical and I can shoulder either of those if I need to. Of course all this is theoretical since I lost all my guns in that boat incident....
That is going to have significant barrel rise if firing magnum shells.

I have a friend who has a Mossberg 930 JM Pro-Series “Tactical Class.”
Right out of the box it had problems with jamming.
Still does.
Got to get one. From what I’ve read, they will feed mini shotgun shells reliably.
