just get it over with Jim rob. I was wrong. Conservativism is the same as communism and nazism. The conservative movement has failed to protect property rights and human rights, Trump is a liar and a cheat and I was wrong.
I explained it nice as I could on my former blog. It doesn't work. We share this world, we all need to work together and come together and learn to love one another.

I read your last blog post. I’m sorry about what happened to your brother but I think your anger is misplaced. You’re basically accusing conservatives for not siding with you and not having compassion for your brother’s situation. You then heap praise on progressives for being more sympathetic while you accuse government for doing you wrong.
I think if you took a deep breath and re-read your own post, the contradictions and fallacies will jump out at you like they did for me. I do understand this is an understandably emotional time for you.

Your post is more than a bit confusing, but I am sypathetic in this one sense:
The definition of what ‘conservative’ means is subjective and nebulous. Lots of people who call themselves conservative, including on this site, are quite willing to sacrifice America’s number one principle - individual Freedom - for the sake of ‘winning’ or theoretically helping people via mandates and subsidies and whatnot.
Many, for example, wish to protect awful programs like SS, Medicare, Medicaid, parts of ObamaCare, funding the drug wars, etc. And, in a logical sense they can think of those misguided goals as being conservative because it conserves the status quo.
But none of those things are compatible with Freedom. And all are unconstitutional in a strict sense - unless implemented at a level lower than the central government.
