Halal simply means permitted or lawful. So when we are talking about halal foods it means any foods that are allowed to be eaten according to Islamic Sharia law.
This means that for any food to be considered halal it must comply with the religious ritual and observance of Sharia law.
Here at Halal Choices we are concerned with the halal slaughter of animals such as beef, lamb and poultry. To be halal certified the animal must be facing Mecca, have its throat cut while still alive and then ritually sacrificed by a Muslim who recites a prayer dedicating the slaughter to Allah. Because the animals must be slaughtered alive, stun guns are often not an option as they can kill an animal before the heart pumps out all the blood.

Oh my gosh. That would be awful. Those Fridays are always turkey sandwich day....thank goodness they changed the rules well before I was born. I would have hated some of the rules they had before Vatican Council II.

So Kosher and Halal are, by definition, mutually exclusive.
What I always thought.
Kosher does not sacrifice the animal as a religious rite, it specifies cleanliness and non cruelty. The Jewish version of the American food handling laws, they tend to be tighter restrictions than the USDA. Mainly in the quantity of blood allowed to remain in the meat and required lower stress levels in the animals.
Halal specify’s a religious rite to sacrifice the death to a pagan god, and is not about health or cruelty.
I personally avoid Halal, as well as all foods prepared by people who do not believe in toilet paper.

You can bet your prayer rug they will discretely allow all restaurants and meat producers to switch to halal, so as to give the m*slims a special privilege they don’t deserve. Then we’ll be eating halal without knowing it.
Camel meat is never kosher (Leviticus 11:4, Deuteronomy 14:7). It is, however, halal (Koran 22:36).

The real biggie IMHO is that if you buy halal, you are paying the jizya, their tax on unbelievers. They seduce suppliers saying advertise halal and get more customers. We should let those producers and suppliers KNOW that we will not buy halal.
Also, it’s subtle, but I think this site is not a muzzie operation. Rather it’s designed to let us all know (those who can think or are open to it) of the perniciousness of halal and sharia. Go Christ go !!
Rarely the animal doesn't get stunned using Kosher. This same group from this video animal rights group in Europe made a video of a Kosher plant. They spent days there and video taped two animals that didn't get fully stunned.
The time of Muhammad they didn't have electricity which means stunning isn't halal. I'm not sure how they get around this in western civilization.
They can't let any opportunity to be cruel and inflict pain pass them by. Allah is really a cruel, ghastly beast.
