LOS ANGELES (CBSNewYork/AP) — Theaters in New Brunswick, New Jersey and Staten Island have called off Kathy Griffin shows five months in advance.
The State Theatre New Jersey canceled Griffin’s performance set for Nov. 3 “after careful consideration of recent events and for the safety of our patrons.” The move comes after an image posted on social media Tuesday showed her holding what looked like the bloody, severed head of President Donald Trump.
The St. George Theatre on Staten Island also called of a show for Nov. 2.
“The St. George Theatre does not endorse the actions or beliefs of any of its performers, and Ms. Griffin’s recent actions have severely inhibited our ability to fulfill our mission as a non-profit theatre serving the Staten Island community,” the theater said in a statement.....

HA!!! I called the St George’s Theater on Tuesday and told them I wanted a refund for my tickets for the Griffin show on Nov 2nd (i really didn’t have tickets- just wanted to call and ask for a refund)...some condescending girl said “there will be no refund of tickets and the show is not going to be cancelled!!”
I told her fine- we’ll just take matters into our own hands and yell obscenities throughout the show...i told everyone in my office to call...
