Because of course he was
Earlier, I outlined how the pattern of events surrounding the Manchester terror attack are all too familiar.
It seems as though every time something like this happens we run through the same, tired, playlist of denial, obfuscation, and then admission that, yes, an Islamic radical was involved.
Then, eventually, we reach the final stage of the narrative meltdown.
Thats the part where we learn that the attacker was already on the law enforcement radar.
No surprise.
What’s the use of a watch-list?
You might as well shift it around...as a ‘go-list’. Once on the list, cops come within six hours...help you pack up a suit case, and you go to a guarded compound until you can find a country to accept you. If it means you spend ten years in the compound waiting on someone to accept you....fine, it is your tough luck.
“We’re not guards... We’re just monitors’
Lone bombman.
This was only workplace violence, you hillbilly Islamophobes.
As we all know, the West, particularly the USA, has an absolutely massive surveillance state. It is so powerful, they can blithely capture a President’s phone calls, and release them when they feel appropriate.
They can also catch terrorists sometimes too, but that’s not the main purpose or intent of their leaders and their vast capabilities. It is about political control.
I can’t decide which is worse:
The terrorist was known to authorities. But the authorities did nothing.
or
The terrorist was completely unknown to authorities because the authorities were fast asleep.
Democrat platform for 2018: Bring millions more here. I spit on these leftist enablers of terrorism.
Whats the use of a watch-list?
+++++++++++++++++++++++++
So they can watch them blow stuff up.
Ninth circuit will probably issue an order blaming Trump.
Well, apparently they were not “watching” him too closely. Maybe these idiot “authorities” should consider an “arrest” list? I guess that he was on a “watch” list is of little consolation to the families of the murdered people. We have some great “leaders”.
Drive Them Out of your Countries, Drive Them Out of this Earth.
There ought to be a review process to id people who should not be on the list. Not saying its an easy job to do so, but I think justice mandates it. But certainly anyone who has ever accused others of being “islamaphobic” belongs nowhere near the review process.
Indeed, you called it exactly. The now well-worn narrative of the globalist elites who are still very willing to sacrifice YOUR life at the alter of diversity and open borders.
Since the advent of Obama, and perhaps even Bush, what we have repeatedly seen is this aversion, this unwillingness, to speak to the heart of the issue of radical Islamists. As long as the elites continue to steadfastly worship diversity at all cost, many more innocent people will die — and that has been demonstrated over and over again to be a price they are more than willing to pay.
There is simply no other reason after such acts of war that the elites come out and demand temperance from their populations as a response. It is madness.
And the only thing the bastards in authority care about, is they hope the feelings of muzzies won’t be hurt in the verbal backlash. What ass hats.
On the (don’t) Watch List...
It’s a self fulfilling prophecy. Letting anyone in requires a police state to keep order and that suited the last administration just fine.
Great point!
