After months of attempting to obstruct everything President Trump has tried to do, including an ongoing filibuster of the Judge Gorsuch Supreme Court nomination, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer might be ready to make a “deal.”
Schumer: We lost one [Garland] they lost one [Gorsuch] We should now get in a room and come up with a compromise to avoid the nuclear option

The last looney tunes proposal I read was that if the GOP promises not to use the filibuster next time, the Dems won’t filibuster this time......

Don’t anyone lose sight of the fact that Mitch McTurtle is the GOP “leader” in the Senate.
If history is any barometer, the odds of this happening are better than even money.
I wonder if several at-risk Senators saw the outrage over the Dems’ treatment of Gorsuch, and went to Schumer and told him they could not vote against Gorsuch and keep their seats.
Upchuck realizes he doesn’t have the votes to stop Gorsuch, so now he wants to “make a deal.”

This is the kind of crap the rinos use to seem reasonable. It’s just a stall to keep the SC at 4-4 and keep the 9th circus as the de facto SC. McTraitor is already talking down the nuke., we can only lose 1 vote in the rule change motion.

No compromise. The Republicans should call a press confernce to announce that they will take the nuclear option and explain why. The reasons should include detailing the hypocracy of people like schumer and explaining the roll of the court and why judicial activism is wrong and denonstrating the case the leftist judges are rougue and that the nation has been hurt by it. Stand tall, be honest, do the right thing, and dont apologize to a slime ball like Schumer. Just huniliate him and make him feel powerless.

Such a nice rule. I suggest that the GOP should adopt a similar rule. Doing so would eventually create near permanent Supreme Court vacancies as long as the party controlling the Presidency and the Senate were different and AS LONG AS THE NUCLEAR OPTION WAS NOT EXERCISED BY EITHER PARTY.
