The Great Purge (Wikipedia Bids Adieu To The People's Cube)
American Rattlesnake ^ | January 15, 2017 | Gerard Perry

As we pointed out last year in our social media series, the neutralization of non-leftist perspectives by the gatekeepers of the world’s most popular websites is rapidly shrinking the sphere of acceptable public debate. While European countries-as well as Canada-are using the state itself to suppressing dissenting views, there is also parallel effort by these site’s owners-and in the case of Wikipedia, its users-to erase inconvenient truths.

A concrete illustration of this phenomenon occurred recently, when The People’s Cube-a satirical conservative website-had its Wikipedia entry deleted.

The fact that it had received extensive national coverage over the course of its existence-on prominent blogs, from respected journalists, on terrestrial and satellite radio-that Oleg’s artwork had been displayed at dozens of protests throughout the country, was completely irrelevant to the unpaid mandarins of Wikipedia. Even the favorable discussion of The People’s Cube by Neil DeGrasse Tyson, a patron saint of drearily conventional progressives, could not spare Oleg’s site...

Air brushing history. It’s what the left does best.

David Seaman was deleted from Wikipedia shortly after he began discussing John Molesta’s incriminating emails.

Is there a freedom loving alternative to the fascists at Wikipedia?

Leftists delete and marginalize viewpoints that differ from their own ideology, then they wonder why they were blindsided in the last election. Perhaps because they only listen to themselves.

As one might expect from the Leftists, deletions of The Peoples Cube is not reported as news. It does not exist as an event in Google News. Typical.

Leftists. Disappearing their opponents since 1917.

I just signed into Wikipedia and put it back up.

Obviously not as detailed...but it’s a start.

We as conservatives should not allow turd leftists to dominate. Rather than lament the purge of The People’s Cube from Wikipedia, sign up (it’s free) and edit can create to your hearts content.

The do it because they can...not because they should.

Wikipedia can only be taken with a grain of salt because anyone can alter any of its pages. All some leftist has to do is complain about one and it gets deleted without cause. It has its uses but it can never be considered factual.

Long live the Peoples Cube!

Excellent Socratic analysis with back to back statements. Bravo.

Flick: Leftists delete differing viewpoints and then wonder why they were blindsided. Maybe they listen to themselves alone.

Falcon: If leftists delete differing viewpoints, then they really are illogical, unethical, powerless and crazy. After all, differing viewpoints outnumber leftists viewpoints 95% to 5%.

It does not take much to scrub off ten years of leftists viewpoints from a young person. All it takes is show how one leader followed the law.

It took my dad to discuss with me how Reagan fired the air traffic controllers, because Reagan followed the law. Sure we had a heated discussion for an hour but hey, Reagan followed the law. Logical and ethical.

Infogalactic is up-and-coming. Not Wikipedia level complete yet, but getting there.

From the Main Page:

“Infogalactic does not share the highly centralized structure of Wikipedia or the ideological dogma of the Wikimedia Foundation. The primary requirements are for the information contributed to be true, relevant, and verifiable, rather than cited from a so-called “published reliable source”, since experience has proven how reliance upon the latter can be easily gamed by editors and administrators alike.

There is no culture of notability, ideology, or deletionism at Infogalactic. The addition of perspective filters and two levels of Context and Opinion to every page means that the average editor’s contribution is much less likely to be deleted for political reasons or fall victim to edit wars over controversial pages.”

“People’s cube” does not exist. You can ask for it to be created,

Above is what I get when I search for People’s cube.

It doesn’t exist. If Wikipedia says it, it must be true.

Move along. Nothing to see here.
