Maybe Obama would be a worse pick than Ayotte. Maybe.

Of all things, pitching the RINOest of Never Trumps to run the Justice Department?

If Will weren’t exposed to everyone out there as the biggest fraud of fake media “conservatives” before, this election cycle leaves him as naked and ugly as could be.

If George Will is making that suggestion, run in the opposite direction. She gets a 30% from Liberty Card, and then George Will wants to pretend that he is a conservative? Riiiight.

Trump Should Pick Ayotte for Justice - George Will

That's OK, NRO wants her on the Supreme Court, and some other neocons want her as SECDEF.

Excuse me but what exactly has George Will done to expect Trump would listen to him? Will has been a NeverTrumper the entire way and probably voted for Hillary. Whether Ms. Ayotte is qualified is a different subject but I just wonder what sort of hubris George Will has to think Trump would listen to him. Trump got elected by doing just the opposite of whatever George Will wanted.

George Will has no place offering advice to Donald Trump. He disqualified himself a very long time ago.

Same goes for Kristol and Krauthammer.

I watched the commentators on Fox on election night go from ridiculing Trump to kissing Trump’s ass in less time than it would take a ray of light to travel three inches when it was projected that he would win the election. It was in mid word, mid sentence.

Why does anyone give that pompous bastard any air time?

He has nothing of any value to offer this country.

“Protectionism is comprehensive government intervention in economic life.”

No, it is not. Protectionism is a shield to protect the economic life of the nation from foreign government thugs and robber barons. The Golden Rule is not a part of any nation’s economic policy. Does George Will really want the nation to bask under the tender mercies of the murderous Chinese government officials?

Northern industrialists were adamantly opposed to slavery because they figured the South would eventually man factories with slave labor. What is going on around the world is a labor force being paid with almost slave labor wages and having very little disposable income with which to buy American goods in reciprocity. That is, if Americans can still export anything at all.

Taxation is comprehensive government intervention in economic life, but no one actually believes it can be dispensed with entirely. Tariffs are taxes also which cannot be dispensed with entirely.
