It means we survived Obama, that our system still works and that the working men and women of this country cannot be lied to, deceived, or fooled.

What it means historically will depend entirely on how successful he is at implementing the policies he’s espoused. And I believe his success will be heavily dependent on the first few months of his administration.

Dear FRiends,

As of this morning's victory, I will now discontinue
the twice-daily MAGA ping.

I began the list on November 2, 2015,
and have posted approximately 750 editions of
the Make America Great Again ping.
It has been the election of a lifetime for me,
and for so many of us.

Many of you dropped me a note over the past year. Some of you
were delegates, some were poll analysts, some have worked directly
with local or national campaign teams, and all of you
have been supporters of one of the most historic presidential
candidates in U.S. history.

It has been a privilege to serve as a news editor in this
flood of daily developments during a campaign fought not just
with the opposing Party, but also with
the news media itself.

I may use the list to contact you from time to time
going forward. For now, I congratulate all of us for our excellent
foresight in choosing—early on—the winner!

My sincere thanks to each of you, especially
the many of you freepers who scoured the media for key stories and
posted them to the Forum, as well as all of you who provided
discussion and opinion, further research, corroborating links,
illustrations and memes!

From your hard work, the MAGA list was assembled.

Above all, we owe a great debt of gratitude to
the founder and proprietor of FreeRepublic, Jim Robinson,
for this surpassingly great Forum for conservative thought and information.
Without his hard work and dedication for the last two decades
to publish Free Republic—for the greater goal of
protecting and defending our Constitution—this election may truly
have been lost by countless numbers. In fact, the entire movement
that culminated in the outcome of yesterday's election may have been
destroyed long ago, if not for James Robinson.
