For years genuine Catholics have been forced to watch helplessly as Democrat, fake Catholics have trashed Catholic doctrine for political gain with little more than a peep from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. We have been forced to shy away from discussions about the feckless response our Church leaders have displayed in the face of Democrat fake Catholic demands. When the Bishops give an inch or appear to give an inch the fake Catholic Democrats demand a yard. This has embarrassed us to no end; but things might be changing.
After years of remaining largely silent while Democrat fake Catholics like Nancy Pelosi and anybody named Cuomo have pontificated about what Catholic doctrine ought to be, there finally seems to be some pushback from the Church.
This comes not a day too soon.
In its desperate effort to fool Catholics into thinking their Church will soon become as pliable as other Christian Churches on the issues of abortion and Gay marriage, the Clinton campaign has sent out its token Catholic, Tim Kaine, to attack Church doctrine on Gay marriage. Richmonds Bishop Francis X.DiLorenzo ripped politicians like Democrat Vice Presidential candidate Virginia Senator Tim Kaine for his disrespectful prediction that the Catholic Church will allow gay marriage.
The long awaited positive and strong response to such heresy continued with comments by Timothy Cardinal Dolan, another member of the U S Conference of Catholic Bishops who took a shot at the Democrat fake Catholic supported Catholics for Choice...

Democrat fake catholics are in the clergy in support positions.
Catholics have historically voted around 5-7 points Democrat except during Reagan
With so many Latinos now that’s really exacerbated it
I think if you take Latinos out its slight majority Catholics vote GOP
Why do Catholics vote more Dem than say Assembly of God
More northern and urban
Less social conservative adherence
But it seems more and more are coming over....at least where I live
Man when I go up north to say Traverse City Michigan where my brother is there are very few churches and all are Catholic or Lutheran mostly....
Church attendance is very low.......
I would imagine regular mass attendees there especially outside TC itself are Trump folk
All I know there are except a couple of TC Main Street arty folk
Down here in the South churches are everywhere and folks attend at least twice monthly at a rate of 50%
And to be lead by a socialist Pope.
Just had a blowout meeting after Mass this past Sunday with the Faith/Justice committee. They are now placing banners in the Sanctuary with slogans like “fair wages”, “jobs”, and my favorite, “join a union”. Yea, we’re infiltrated.
Their biggest sin being helping islam to breed and swarm the rest of the world.
The “blowback” hoped for in your headline will only occur if the critical comments from Kaine’s bishop in Richmond (and even from Card. Dolan of all people) are widely and effectively distributed among Catholics who then do get and respond to the message. The message is: Look at authentic Catholic teaching and then look at Kaine—a fake.
Tear down the banners and take a stand. Let them know they’re not taking away your church without a fight.
This year it could very change. With DJT as the frontrunner, Christians, be they Catholic or Assembly of God will be voting for him.
They need to start excommunicating marxist priests and any prominent Catholic that goes on record agitating against Church doctrine. If the Catholic Church does not fight this campaign against the faithful they will lose many more faithful and the “Eternal Church” will live on only as a ghost.
Hate to disagree with the Coach, but I see this heading the other way.
Credible reports of high Church officials cashing checks from George Soros.
Yet another wacky statement from Bergoglio every other week.
Tim Kaine telling gay groups that the Church is about to come around to their way of thinking....and sounding like he has inside info.
Mysterious inserts in my Church bulletins telling the flock to prepare for “change”.....amorphous and undefined.
The thought has crossed my mind. It was very heated in the discussion. And the FJ group has no idea why we are mad.
“And the FJ group has no idea why we are mad.”
Yes, they do. It’s just an Alinsky tactic to try to marginalize you for objecting to their agenda.
“No one else complained about it.” (And they’ll say this to fifty different people in the hopes of preventing the opposition from organizing)
“Why would a reasonable person be upset about this?” (Pretending that it’s perfectly normal and you’re wrong for objecting to something that everyone else just blithely accepts.)
I don’t know about a blow back, at least not with this pope at the helm.
And not without millions of excommunications.
If you could scan any such insert and post it -- or scan and send via private message -- I'd very much like to see that. Thanks
One has to understand the makeup of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).
Nominally, it is the US Catholic Bishops, and their statements are the views or directives of the consensus of Catholic Bishops relying on the beliefs and strictures of the Catholic faith.
But in reality, the bishops have delegated much of the work of the USCCB to the staff, which is overwhelming liberal Democrat in its makeup. Many of them have come from congressional democrat staff positions or far left social justice lobbies. They write all the position papers and brief the bishops on issues of import, from a distinctly liberal democrat viewpoint. In most cases, the bishops accept the output of their staff and promulgate it, because they are themselves not too aware of the details of these issues.
For example, on immigration, bishops have been sold on the notion that illegal aliens are just children of God who have endured terrible adversities and it is our job to nurture them. That there might be a criminality involved, or a financial cost hurtful to other equally suffering Americans, or suicidal to Christian faith (Muslim immigrants), is never discussed.
Also, most bishops themselves come from demographically democrat origins, which dates back to the multitude of Catholic immigrant communities of long ago. Their parents and grandparents were democrats because that was where they could find political benefactors in days long gone. Like those old southern yellow dog democrats, they can’t imagine that the democrat party no longer represents the interests of their ancestors or no longer respects the tolerance of their faith.
So they put out the far left pronouncements of the USCCB staffers, and ignore the sinful actions (abortion, euthanasia) of democrat Catholic politicians (Kaine, Pelosi, Biden, Kerry, Kennedy, Leahy, etc.) which they would condemn in a Republican.
So, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do, but for God’s sake (no pun there), ignore what they say.
I won't assume to know their thought process on it, but they (FJ committee) are 70's college educated libs.
The biggest fake Catholic is Pope Francis.
I doubt it.
