The government's only response has been to require training for the 'Cajun Navy', and distribution of a few FEMA trailers.
Far from helping , the government's response has been to present only obstacles to 'neighbors-helping-neighbors'.

You make good points - no way to truly prepare fro nuke unless you read Cresson Kearny’s book and have the knowledge to create expedient radiological survival skills, and already have other preps and skills.
