On Friday’s Today, NBC terror analyst Michael Leiter partly blamed France for Thursday’s terrorist attack in the resort town of Nice: “The French really do have a disenfranchised Muslim population…which has become extremely isolated. And even France’s efforts to allow for the free expression of religion has, I think arguably in some cases, produced more isolation and more radicalization.”
In the 2 p.m. ET hour of CNN Newsroom, anchor Brooke Baldwin teed up senior international correspondent Nima Elbagir to make an identical argument: “Make your point again for people who are just joining us. The notion is, we covered the terror attacks in Paris last November and we’ve talked about the disenfranchised Muslim community in that part of the country.” …

The problem that NBC & CNN fail to focus on, results from an immigration policy in the former major European Colonial powers based largely on a media & academic induced guilt complex, which has for decades allowed an extremely liberal acceptance of former colonial peoples into the lands of their former rulers.
This is behind very serious problems in Britain, France & the Netherlands, in particular. It is very sad, because the resulting cultural confusion serves the interests neither of the former imperialists or their former colonists. But discussion of the fall out is considered taboo, and has led to actual criminal prosecutions. (Including, at one time, Brigette Bardot, who dared to speak out for keeping France, French. Imagine how that horrified an "enlightened" media.)

The stupidity and hypocrisy are stunning. First, why are the Muslims there in the first place if France was ‘intolerant’? They are there because France choose to allow them to be. That’s not disenfranchisement. That’s doing what the left supposedly support - ‘embracing diversity’.
Second, isn’t it the left who won’t allow Christianity any place in public society? No more Christmas pageants in public schools, no manger scenes etc. allowed where they might ‘offend’ others, no tolerance of people saying ‘Merry Christmas’, etc. etc.
What are these people even saying. They think they are so progressive and intellectual, but they are the antithesis of that, and the antithesis of tolerant. Sadly, they are also putting the world in grave danger by ignoring truth.
That’s the Logical progression.
Meanwhile, NBC and CNN will continue to broadcast from behind biometric protected doors with armed guards, just in case any of those disenfranchised come knocking...

More than that, they are asking the retired military and gendarmes (part of the military under French Law) to assist in thr eyes and ears programs. That means they are asking TRAINED retirees to shoulder part of the load. We should do the same thing here in America.

Using their own logic - what do they think will happen when we bring disenfranchised ill-educated poor Muslims to America and put them up in government housing on welfare? We already have crime infested areas like that in Chicago where Americans kill one another - wonder how that will work out for us?
I would say look at what is happening in France, but then again - we are so much more compassionate so it could not happen here. /s Right?
