We had a whole primary season starting with 17 participants..
....millions of voters....and a clear winner.
So now we have Billy come lately....very late.
Webb of Virginia might go for it. Heck, he might even get 1% like the Libertarians. Cruz might get 2% Bloomberg, probably 3%. Unless he gets someone truly well-known, I doubt any could get 5%. And this year, I suspect it would not make a difference.
And since Texas deadline already passed on May 9th, others are looming, I think this is all a futile exercise aimed at undermining the Republican party and helping Clinton, not at offering a serious, viable alternative.
Kristol and his cronies remind me of spoiled brats, upset that their guy didnt win..we voted for their guy TWICE..voted for McCain, couldnt stand him, voted for Romney, couldnt stand him, ALL for party loyalty and didnt want the Dem in the White House..these same people demanded Trump sign a loyalty pledge so that he would NOT run 3rd party, and what do these brats do, they turn around and do what they told Trump he cant do

They could care less about winning the presidency and the Texas deadline passing - this is third party run is intended as a sabotage candidacy against Trump.
Could it be George Soros? Kristol does have his “connections.”

Maybe he thinks the mere notion of a 3rd party will scare Donald into making a most terrible gaffe from which no one, not even The Donald could ever recover. That’s been tried before.
The public is more resilient these days. This is not years ago when “The Howard Dean Scream” IMMEDIATELY disqualified Dean from even running. Or when Gary Hart was caught in the act of Monkey Business.
After surviving/ enduring the Obama Years, voters are more shock-proof.
