Some 2016 intrigue coming from The Washington Post’s Robert Costa, who reported on a meeting Mitt Romney had with the Weekly Standard’s William Kristol last Thursday on the possibility of running as a third party candidate. Kristol is part of a large swath of conservatives within the Republican Party, who are highly skeptical of presumptive nominee Donald Trump on a whole host of issues—the most obvious being that the billionaire magnate isn’t even a conservative Republican:

How can it hurt him. He has already disgraced himself and destroyed what legacy he had. Perhaps he can bring his father into this mess somehow. Or, his crooked sons in training. I welcome his treachery. He fills in one more piece in the puzzle which will destroy the GOPe for all time.

Since when is Bill Kristol been a conservative. He is a neo con establishment hack that rarely if ever shows any conservatism. He has never gone after Obama with half the intensity he does when he goes after Trump. If this is a conservative, I need to find a new label for myself.

Had he worked as hard to win election for himself as he has to destroy the party we would never ended up with an unqualified community organizer in the oval office.

The bigger danger in him running would be his continued prosecution of Trump from the right on a national stage.
They plan on obfuscating that this is not simply a means to ensure Hillary defeats Trump by claiming the goal is to force the election to the house.
A third party nobody is much less a threat than the Bishop.
