Team Trump Preparing “Political Punch to the Face” Against Cruz Campaign?
Team Trump Preparing “Political Punch to the Face” Against Cruz Campaign? ^ | April 10, 2016 | DC Whispers

Posted on 04/10/2016 10:52:56 AM PDT by Art in Idaho

Will these whispers turn to shouts?

The word behind the word is that Paul Manafort is already earning his keep BIG TIME as he moves to deliver a stunning blow to the Cruz campaign a source describes as a potential “punch to the face” that involves the number 172.

Here is a brief summary of what will simply be called the “172 Plan” :

**Talks are ongoing and more numerous between Team Trump and a second party over the last 48-hours.

**If these talks lead to an agreement, it will be a game-changer in the 2016 Republican nomination process.

**Manafort is said to be personally leading the negotiations with Donald Trump’s full approval. In fact, it’s believed Manafort was the first to suggest this scenario last month but did so then more as an observer of the campaign. Now he is a top-ranking operative/adviser for Team Trump.

**This ongoing negotiation has sent the Cruz campaign scrambling to block further negotiation from materializing and getting a considerable assist from powerful GOP forces.

Floridians that know Cruz, despise him.

I’m not staying home. I’m explaining to you that I represent millions of people who have been and ARE Constitutionalists our entire lives, but believe, based upon Trump’s many past positions, present insults and crudities, and past donations (including Rotten for President) that the man cannot be trusted to turn around our Ship of State.

I fervently hope that RINO squish Kasich is not the VP, but I predicted that he would be Trump’s guy months ago.

Completely agree with you that Kasich is a RINO squish and he's not my first choice for anything, much less V.P. however if we remove our personal preferences, who's the one guy running that knows how the budget was balanced in '95 - 99 and knows where the bodies are buried in the Federal Budget?

Isn't getting the budget deficit eliminated and start whittling away at the National Debt at the top/near the top of this country's biggest problems?

If so, a Kasich V.P. pick makes sense. Sic him on the budget full-time and start getting this mess under control, and start starving the Federal beast.

I can certainly think of worse V.P. picks than Kasich.....

Google form I 72

Notice the Interstate sign I 72. Its not a number

I 72 is a US immigration form. Used for work visa or passport etc.

Lots of material and comments on that search that needs investigation (one speaks of birthcertificate/passport)

How would it apply to the sCruz clan ?

California has 172 delegates. But that’s not until June 7.

I am about a millimeter close to refusing to vote for Trump in November, so his team of punks had better watch themselves.

Oh! Ho ho ho! Whoa there laddy! ... I think you're overestimating how much the Trump campaign is concerned about the impatience of FreeRepublic's alstewartfan.

Do Dominionists kill or exile those who leave the fold? Do they insist that there is only one acceptable opinion? I seriously doubt it.

In case you haven’t noticed, Ted wasn’t even out of grade school back when America was great in the Reagan years.

Cruz has never managed or employed anyone, never signed a paycheck on the front. His economic plans are foolish at best, and his tax plan is crippling. For him to say he knows anything about making America great is hilarious.

I thank God that we will have been spared a Cruz nomination, especially after my initial support of him. If you choose to ignore all of his lies and sheer hypocrisy, good for you. But nearly all of us have seen thru his charades. By failing to look deeper at his faults while blindly singing his talking points does make his followers a cult.

We realize Trump has faults. He’s honest about them. Cruz is honest about NOTHING.

I saw that when I saw this DC Whispers article or at the Conservative Tree House yesterday.

I didn’t go look to where this Interstate is located. Somewhere in the Northeast would be a good guess.

I have always believed the best team would be Trump/Rubio. Trump is a negotiator. ...something is happening behind the scenes because Trump is in this to win it! If winning means, working out a deal with Rubio, I’m cool with that. I’m still thinking there was more to the RNC meeting in DC with Reince than we were told.

Well, you aren’t going to be happy anyway. Your (and these alleged millions) best shot is to think long ball and make certain you have something left to build on. Trump is the only hope of that.

If not Trump, Hillary is an absolute, and it’s over.

If the convention issue is tight in June, I expect Trump will unite with Kasich or Rubio . Manafort may be pushing the 'anything to win' meme.

If it looks like Trump has 1237, I expect him to pick the VP he really wants.

Kasich can deliver Ohio in November. I don't think Rubio is worth all that much unless Hillary picks that young Latino guy from Texas for her VP and then stock in Rubio becomes the new IBM.

Manafort has his plan and his plan directly involves Mr. Trump and I'm guessing it also involves MaraLago too.

First, the budget was not really “balanced” in those years. Second, the dot.com boom will never be repeated. Third, the GOP is more gutless than ever now, evidenced by their willingness to call thin gruel Democrat concessions “victories”, (such as saving incandescent light bulbs), “smashing successes” that justify voting for $1.1T disaters.
