Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes, The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria! I approve that quote.

I’m a Trump supporter and would never make my support of Trump personal. Im sorry this happened to you. Do to my support, I’ve been called a cultist and a Trumpanzie. Go figure........ If you decide a vote for Trump is what you desire, don’t let anyone stop you. ALL VOTES ARE NEEDED. :)

Cruz brings nothing to a Trump ticket. Cruz would inspire the millions of conservatives who stayed home in 2008 and 2012.

Spin it however you wish, “conservatives” will likely make him or break him in the general.

I wouldn’t want Cruz on the Supreme Court, not after his statements on Chicago. He as a constitutional conservative and a fellow republican had an obligation to support what was right and to put aside personal feeling. He could not do that.

I haven't heard this possibility discussed and wondered what the FR reaction would be? The usual.
We will find you and kill you.

Since Cruz got a smaller percent of the Nov 2012 vote in Texas than mediocre Mitt did, what would change the calculus nationwide?

...will it eat its own if the ticket out of Cleveland is Trump-Cruz or Cruz-Trump ? Since the odds of such a ticket happening are between zilch and none the I submit you question is moot.

Trump is a leader. He doesn't want to be nor needs to be second-fiddle. If he can't win the whole shooting' match, he'll go back to building skyscrapers in New York.
Trump being anybody's VP is not even in the realm of possibility.

From what Ive seen here on FR, I doubt that most of either camp will get on board with the other; We should all sign a pledge we will support the front runner! :)
Actually, I will, either way.

Reaction? Initial outrage and eventual capitulation in the main. Although my perspective may be slanted, since I’ve already said I’ll vote for whoever the Republicans bring out, just because, while I think Trump would be a poor president, I can’t believe he’d be as bad for us as Clinton or Sanders.
That said, while I thought it a possibility earlier, at this point I don’t see it happening. I think it’ll be a Reagan-Bush kind of thing, where the guy the Republican party doesn’t really want accepts someone they like better as the VP to make them happier.

If there was ever a politician that fits the moniker “a loose canon ball in the back of a station wagon” donnie is it. He should never be trusted with the keys to the White House.
The prospects are grim and ALL the trustworthy polls show Hillary whuppin donnies butt, I do not look forward to the next 4 years.
