I am a Trump supporter but I would like to know if Cruz's comments about Chicago changed the mind of any of his supporters. Is it A) no difference I still support Cruz B) I am rethinking my support for Cruz C) I am now going to support another candidate or not voting?
True that. But if Trump voters abandoned Trump everytime he said something stupid we wouldn’t be posting on this thread because he’d have no supporters left.
Very disappointing.
I was going to vote for him, but now will not.
He had a tremendous opportunity and came off like a hack.

Cruz is saying
Yes what was done was wrong BUT it is justified because the victim...
Anyone NOT welded at the hip to a candidate knows that is exactly what this is and will hold Cruz accountable
There was such an opportunity here for Cruz and he totally blew it.
Can you imagine what the result would of been if Cruz had come out and supported Trump and soundly castigated the media and the rioters? If he had made a full throated defense of the Constitutional principals of Free Speech and Free Assembly?
But instead he weaseled.
Take a look around the web, you can lie to yourselves all you wish, you will see the truth Tuesday. Cruz made a major error here.
Trump is absolutely not responsible for MoveOn and other leftist thugs and their violence and hatred in Chicago.
My lack of support for Trump is because I don't believe he is for a smaller federal government. How does he plan to force US companies to return jobs to America- with more government?
And if Trump had shot one of them you all would probably think he was justified. Keep drinking the Kool-Aid and kiss the country good-bye.
Trump has insulted every single republican candidate.
Even pathological Carson, Christie and now Kaisch.
He also has freepers attacking freepers and even some freepers willing to vote for Hillary.

I used to be a Cruz/Trump supporter. While my concerns regarding Teddy Cruz started already earlier, this was the last straw. It revealed that Cruz is not at all smart and leans left.
What recently switched me over to Trump is when Cruz proved he is a Bush family lackie.
Yes! I will never vote for any of the stooges. They all took cheap shots.
Hillary? Cruz? Rubio? Kasich? Dems? GOPe?

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders rolled out campaign ads in Illinois this week that are sharply critical of Chicago mayor — and longtime Clinton ally — Rahm Emanuel.
Emanuel was a top official in former President Bill Clinton’s administration and also served as President Barack Obama’s first chief of staff. In 2014, Emanuel announced his support for what was then a potential presidential campaign by Hillary Clinton.
In December, Sanders said he does not care about winning Emanuel’s support in his bid to become the presidential nominee.
“If the question is do I want or need Rahm Emanuel’s support for president, with all due respect to the mayor, no, I don’t,” Sanders said then.
St. Valentine’s Day Massacre
Gang warfare ruled the streets of Chicago during the late 1920s, as chief gangster Al Capone sought to consolidate control by eliminating his rivals in the illegal trades of bootlegging, gambling and prostitution. This rash of gang violence reached its bloody climax in a garage on the city’s North Side on February 14, 1929, when seven men associated with the Irish gangster George “Bugs” Moran, one of Capone’s longtime enemies, were shot to death by several men dressed as policemen. The St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, as it was known, was never officially linked to Capone, but he was generally considered to have been responsible for the murders.
So you can see what a ‘hot bed’ of politics are being played here in Chicago, and the name that Chicago supports...it’s no wonder that there was such an ‘outbreak’ last night, both Sanders and Clinton knows if Trump gets a strong hold in this city, they would be knocked out of the running, and they couldn’t possibly have that..
And then there is Ted Cruz now being hugged by the Bush Clinton Crime Familys:

He’s proven himself to be uniparty - teaming up with the marxists, muslims and black racists on the left when politically expedient.
I used to say I am for Trump, but if he loses I hope Cruz wins. No more. Ted is over the top creepy.
OTOH, it's worth wondering if a President Trump will blame everything on Obama his first couple of years, turnabout is fair play.

I supported Ted financially last year. I switched over late last year and went all in for Trump through January.
But Ted’s behavior in the last few weeks has really validated my decision to leave him in the dust. No more Cruz.
No more Kasich.
No more Rubio...
none of those losers.
Trump is now the solid first choice.
I can’t see Ted taking but two or three more states: he will soon run out of states. This is causing him to go bonkers. If he could turn back the clock to Jan. 25, he might have stood a slim chance.
You had to know that one of Cruz’s “The stabbing would never stop.” drones would show up to defend the rhetoric that defines their candidate.
I still support Cruz.
I actually voted for Cruz in the Texas primary although I’ve always preferred Trump’s moxie.
Too bad he carried the state, he’s now been thoroughly corrupted by the GOPe since he’s seen as the only alternative to Trump.
