We used to go crazy because of Obama's birth in Kenya to a foreign father and American mother. How is Ted Cruz different? Would a child born here to foreigners be any different? That's Marco's plight. I'm interested in seeing how the poo flings and also if instead of Marco or Ted, the child's first name was Mohammed twenty years from now with massive immigration and amnesty.

Trump is winning the primary vote and dominating the statewide and national polls.
Trump draws crowds a hundred times bigger than any other candidate.
He’s going to be the next President.
Suck it, Sicko.

If you have to debate number of years, it doesn’t seem natural. Of course you can make an argument for anyone, I suppose. I doubt anyone could argue against someone born here of two American citizens, though.

What about if your grandparents didn’t assimilate like the current immigrants?

RE:”

My standards are way more than following whoever seems like the ‘winner’ at any given moment.
The opposite thinking is what got us in this mess today.
I see your last winner Romney just attacked your current one Trump.
Romney, Trump, .... whatever, just follow the wind.

Cruz hasn’t accomplished anything? On the contrary, Cruz has on many occasions made a principled stand against both DC and the Republican Establishment!
When did O’Bama call his parties leadership a liar on the floor of the Senate?
Plus how much ‘accomplishment’ do you expect a junior senator to be able to have?

Sure. I can sit on my ass doing nothing and call it a ‘principled stand’ too.
Still doesn’t accomplish anything.

**because we KNOW how much the under 35 white college people who probably go back six generations LOVE this country.**
I disagree that NBC is an outdated rule. Our heritage and way of life is different than just about anyplace else. Our constitution is unique and worth preserving from outside influence or agents, and sooner or later those 35yo’ds will become grandparents and legacy will become more important.
Here’s what the State Department has said about dual citizenship:
The state department has discouraged dual citizenship with a warning that “ dual citizenship can present a security issue whether to permit access to classified information which affects recruitment, employment and assignments.”
http://www.latimes.com/opinion/editorials/la-ed-dual-citizenship-20141228-story.htmlepartment positions.
security issues and disqualification from sensitive positions -— I’d say the presidency is a pretty sensitive position
Is Rubio a NBC? Here’s what the co-author of the 14th amendment wrote:
“Every Person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. ——This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners,——— aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons.
Senator Jacob Howard, Co-author of the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment, 1866.

This is ridiculous. If the neo commies are going to ignore the nbc when it benefits them, they cannot turn around and say that the natural born citizenship clause now should be enforced. What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. If the lib/commies want to ignore the natural citizenship clause for their benefit, I will do my best to see that they will not then apply the natural born citizenship clause for their benefit. I regard them as estopped from doing so.They're not going to have it both ways!

I have my doubts about your
"seriousness" on the issue.
I believe you're
more interested in the
"Fling poo.".
However, I'll
try to answer your questions beyond any doubt at all, according to the Constitution and the LAW .
"We used to go crazy because of Obama's birth in Kenya to a foreign father and American mother. How is Ted Cruz different ?"
SHORT ANSWER:Eleanor Darragh, mother of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), is a natural born citizen of the U.S., born Nov. 23, 1934 in Delaware,
and according to the law at the time of Ted Cruz's birth (Dec. 22, 1970) established his natural born citizenship by birth.
Contrast that with Stanley Ann Dunham, the mother ofBarack Hussein Obama II, (a.k.a. Barry Soetoro).
Stanley Ann Dunham could NOT impart U.S. citizen to her son, Barack Obama II, because she did NOT meet the legal requirements to do so,
at the time her son was born IN the Coast Provincial General Hospital, MOMBASA, KENYA at 7:21 pm on August 4, 1961.
DETAILED ANSWER: Barack Hussein Obama II, aka Barry Soetoro, has a real birth certificate, with his right footprint on it.
All you have to do is look for it.
His father was NOT an immigrant to the United States.
Barack Obama Sr. was a "Transient Alien" because he did NOT intend on residing in the United States permanently.
Barack Obama Sr. was a dual citizen of Great Britain and Kenya, and NEVER a United States Citizen. His mother could NOT impart U.S. citizen to her son, Barack Obama II,
because she did NOT meet the legal requirements to do so,
at the time her son was born IN the Coast Provincial General Hospital, MOMBASA, KENYA at 7:21 pm on August 4, 1961.
Democrats knew this and tried to eliminate the "Natural Born Citizen" requirement at least 8 times BEFORE Obama won his election in 2008.
Contrast that with TED CRUZ's parents.
FACT: Cruzs fathers Cuban nationality at the time of Cruzs birth, is irrelevant, according to the law at that time,
just so long as he was a LEGAL Immigrant at the time of Ted Cruz's birth,
AND both of Ted Cruz's parents were legally married to each other.
What are the rules for people born between December 23, 1952 and November 13, 1986?
The 14th Amendment IS a part of the U.S. Constitution and states in SECTION 5. The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
So, under that power to legislate, Congress legislated and the President signed into law: When ONE parent was a US citizen and the other a foreign national, the US citizen parent must have resided in the US for a total of 10 years prior to the birth of the child, with five of the years after the age of 14.
... While there were initially rules regarding what the child must do to retain citizenship, amendments since 1952 HAVE ELIMINATED THESE REQUIREMENTS.
When Ted Cruz was born, his parents were "IN WEDLOCK".
They married, moved to Calgary, Alberta, and in late 1970 had their first and only child, Rafael Edward Cruz.
Cruz was born on December 22, 1970 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where his parents, Eleanor Elizabeth Darragh Wilson and Rafael Bienvenido Cruz.
Cruz's mother was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, in a family of three quarters Irish and one quarter Italian descent.
Eleanor Darragh, mother of Ted Cruz, was raised in Delaware, graduated from a Catholic High School (1952) in the U.S., as well as Rice University (1956),so clearly she meets the residency requirements.
Source
In 1957, Rafael Bienvenido Cruz (Ted Cruz's father) decided to get out of Cuba by applying to the University of Texas.
Upon being admitted, he adds, he got a four-year student visa at the U.S. Consulate in Havana.
"Since he liked to eat seven days a week, he worked seven days a week, and he paid his way through the University of Texas," Ted Cruz says of his father, "and then ended up getting a job and eventually going on to start a small business and to work towards the American dream."
Only he did that in Canada, where Ted was born.
His father went there after having earlier obtained political asylum in the U.S. when his student visa ran out.
He then got a green card, he says, and married Ted's mother, an American citizen.
The two of them moved to Canada to work in the oil industry.
"I worked in Canada for eight years," Rafael Cruz says. "And while I was in Canada, I became a Canadian citizen."
The elder Cruz says he renounced his Canadian citizenship when he finally became a U.S. citizen in 2005 48 years after leaving Cuba.
Why did he take so long to do it?"I don't know. I guess laziness, or I don't know," he says.
So there is the law for the time Ted Cruz was born,
AND HOW Ted Cruz's PARENTS fulfilled ALL those requirements of the law that time, for Ted Cruz to be a "Natural Born Citizen".
Ted Cruz did NOT NEED a Court and a Judge to "Nationalize" him.
Next Question :"Would a child born here to foreigners be any different?
Look at
the LAW and read the requirements.
Also,
notice this:
... in the definitive citizenship case of US v. Wong Kim Ark.
In that case, the Supreme Court told us quite clearly, in not one, but in two different ways, that Wong Kim Ark,who was born on US soil of two NON-citizen Chinese parents, wasn’t thereby JUST “a citizen” — he was ALSO “natural born.”
If he was “natural born,” and he was “a citizen,”then it is inescapable that the Court found young Mr. Wong to be a natural born citizen.
The 6 Justices who agreed on the majority opinion (against only 2 dissenters) also discussed the implications of such status for Presidential eligibility.
So they in fact foundthat Wong Kim Ark would be legally eligible to run for President upon meeting the other qualifications — reaching the age of 35, and 14 years’ residence.
Mr. Wong, who lived most of his life as a simple Chinese cook in Chinatown, never ran for President, of course.
And in the highly racial America of his day Wong almost certainly could not have been elected if he had tried.
But according to the United States Supreme Court, legally speaking,Mr. Wong DID HAVE the legal qualification to eventually run for, and serve as, President of the United States —
if the People should have decided that he was the right person for the job.
There’s much deeper we could go into the issue, of course.
I haven’t found the time to refute Mr. Apuzzo’s bogus “two citizen parents” claims in the full, absolute detail that I would like to.
There is an awful lot of refutation here, here, and here,
It would be nice to put ALL of the pieces together in one place.
However, for those who don’t mind a bit of digging, the references given above are a good start.
But never mind — a court in the State of Arizona the day before yesterday quite clearly and authoritatively refuted Mr. Apuzzo for me.
The court smacked down Apuzzo’s and Donofrio’s claims in no uncertain terms.
Judge Richard Gordon DISMISSED the ballot-challenge case of Allen v. Arizona Democratic Party.
And he did so “WITH PREJUDICE,” which means“This case has been fully heard and judged on its merits
and we’re done with it —
don’t attempt to darken my door with this same accusation ever again.”
Note that again:Apuzzo’s claim has been officially tried in a court of law, on its merits, and found to be totally cracked.
And the ruling struggled to stretch barely past two pages into three.
That is NOT a lot of discussion, which indicates that this was not anything even REMOTELY resembling a “close call.”

he (Cruz) does fight for America thoughPut away those blinders. He voted for TPA. He wanted a five-fold increase in H1B visas. He doesn't want to settle his NBC status, which is not as strong a claim as is Obama's. He was all-in for moving on up with the Bush crime family. He has lots of deep-pocket donors, in spite of his original pleas to us that he was going to be a grass-roots campaigner.
Who fights for America more that Trump?

“my Italians grandparents who came over late in life were more patriotic than 99 percent of the under 35 crowd now and I would have a man who got here at 20 and loved the country be president than the spoiled garbage we have in this country now.”
Lafayette was more of an American Patriot than countless U.S. citizens during the American Revolutionary War and the centuries since that war, yet he wisely understood the honorary U.S. citizenship granted to him and his ancestors would very wisely not entitle any of them to become a President of the United States. This denial of U.S. citizenship and denial of eligibility were a means of protecting and defending the safety of the U.S. citizens and their Constitutional rights against foreign intrigues. The privileges of joining and being adopted into the U.S. society are supposed to be ample recompense for the disability of serving in only two of the offices of the U.S. Government. This restriction limited to just the two highest executive offices was in itself a revolutionary change in the centuries old policy of denying virtually all government offices to the children born abroad with a citizen father.
“outdated and backwards law.”
The Barack Hussein Obama Administration and the Chester Arthur Administration serve as ample proof there is nothing outdated or backwards about the centuries old policy of denying government offices to the foreign born.
“because we KNOW how much the under 35 white college people who probably go back six generations LOVE this country.”
If you don’t like it, you could always propose a Constitutional Amendment which would limit their nationality to non-voting U.S. nationals instead of being full U.S. citizens with a right to vote and hold government offices.
“I live in NYC. Its about as foreign a land as any other compared to the rest of the country.”
Then you haven’t spent any time in East St. Louis, East L.A., and an assortment of other locales which make New York City appear to be absolutely mundane.
“you will Lie, you will Cheat, and you will Steal, among other things, to get ahead. At least in the financial world”
“or you will fail.”
Wrong. That is the typical world view of people who lie, cheat, steal, and then wrongly assume everyone else must be doing so too.
“I hope trump isnt applying that to his run for office.”
Your viewpoint only attracts attention to the fact people who lie, cheat, steal, then wrongly assume everyone else must be doing so too.

Those comments make yourself the foe of every person who swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and then meant to accomplish exactly what they swore to do. You do not get to change or contemptuously disregard the Constitution’s natural born citizen clause just because you find it to be inconvenient in opposing others who also abrogate it.

“Mrs. Cruz was 36 at Teds birth and had resided in the U.S. the number of years required by the statute.”
The U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952 that granted Ted Cruz the opportunity to adopt U.S. citizenship at birth is a naturalization law that creates naturalized citizens. Ted Cruz is a naturalized U.S. citizen and is not a natural born citizen of the United States. Naturalized U.S. citizens like Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio are not lawfully eligible to be POTUS. In the U.S. Supreme court case, United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649, 18 S.Ct. 456, 42 L.Ed. said “A person born out of the jurisdiction of the United States can only become a citizen by being naturalized....”
