RE:”Trump is winning the primary vote and dominating the statewide and national polls.
Trump draws crowds a hundred times bigger than any other candidate.
He’s going to be the next President.”

Just as Obama did in 2008, That worked great

My standards are way more than following whoever seems like the ‘winner’ at any given moment.

The opposite thinking is what got us in this mess today.

I see your last winner Romney just attacked your current one Trump.

Romney, Trump, .... whatever, just follow the wind.

My last winner?

Romney was never my guy. Not even close. As a matter of fact, I was quite an annoyance to the sycophants who laid aside their principles to root for him.

There’s no comparison between Trump and Romney, aside from the fact that they’re both rich. That’s where the similarities end.

Trump has already achieved everything he set out to do in his life. He’s made more money than most people could ever dream of. He forged his own brand and made it iconic in our culture. He raised a great group of kids, and has had a wonderful life. In short, he has all any man could want.

So why run for president if he doesn’t truly intend to do the things he says he will? There’s nothing to be gained on a personal level for him. He doesn’t need the money or the perks that come with the job. Looking the whole thing over, the job of president isn’t a move up for him in any way.

What the job is, is a position from which he can do things to help his countrymen to live a better life than what they’ve been living these last twenty-odd years. I think the man wants to give something back to the country that enabled him to live out his dreams. I believe he wants to be remembered for something far greater than luxury hotels and skyscrapers.

I understand people’s skepticism about Trump. My first reaction to the news that he was running, was a hearty laugh. I fully expected him to be a momentary sideshow. But then I heard his announcement speech. It took me by surprise, because I never expected something that bold and daring to come from him. That one speech intrigued me just enough to start doing some due diligence on him. What I found made me realize that I had a media manufactured impression of the man that was a fraudulent image of who he really is.

I’m going long here, but I guess I just wanted to lay out a thumbnail explanation of why I support Trump for president.

Gotta run.
