“my Italians grandparents who came over late in life were more patriotic than 99 percent of the under 35 crowd now and I would have a man who got here at 20 and loved the country be president than the spoiled garbage we have in this country now.”

Lafayette was more of an American Patriot than countless U.S. citizens during the American Revolutionary War and the centuries since that war, yet he wisely understood the honorary U.S. citizenship granted to him and his ancestors would very wisely not entitle any of them to become a President of the United States. This denial of U.S. citizenship and denial of eligibility were a means of protecting and defending the safety of the U.S. citizens and their Constitutional rights against foreign intrigues. The privileges of joining and being adopted into the U.S. society are supposed to be ample recompense for the disability of serving in only two of the offices of the U.S. Government. This restriction limited to just the two highest executive offices was in itself a revolutionary change in the centuries old policy of denying virtually all government offices to the children born abroad with a citizen father.

“outdated and backwards law.”

The Barack Hussein Obama Administration and the Chester Arthur Administration serve as ample proof there is nothing outdated or backwards about the centuries old policy of denying government offices to the foreign born.

“because we KNOW how much the under 35 white college people who probably go back six generations LOVE this country.”

If you don’t like it, you could always propose a Constitutional Amendment which would limit their nationality to non-voting U.S. nationals instead of being full U.S. citizens with a right to vote and hold government offices.

“I live in NYC. It’s about as foreign a land as any other compared to the rest of the country.”

Then you haven’t spent any time in East St. Louis, East L.A., and an assortment of other locales which make New York City appear to be absolutely mundane.

“you will Lie, you will Cheat, and you will Steal, among other things, to get ahead. At least in the financial world”

“or you will fail.”

Wrong. That is the typical world view of people who lie, cheat, steal, and then wrongly assume everyone else must be doing so too.

“I hope trump isn’t applying that to his run for office.”

Your viewpoint only attracts attention to the fact people who lie, cheat, steal, then wrongly assume everyone else must be doing so too.

and the HUD, S and L, and how many other scandals costing TRILLIONS...I would bet GREAT money that 90 percent of the proceeds went to blue blooded 5 and 6th generation Americans in Congress
