One of the most spectacular discoveries of the 20th century was that the Universe itself was expanding. When Einstein put forth his general theory of relativity, he swiftly recognized that there was a consequence he was unhappy about: a Universe that was filled with matter in all directions would be unstable against gravitational collapse. Einsteinâs fix for this was to make up an invisible, outward-pushing force that prevented this collapse from occurring, a cosmological constant. But if you didnât include this cosmological constant, others soon realized, youâd wind up with a Universe that wasnât static in time, but where the fabric of space itself was either expanding or contracting with time.

Say “President Donald Trump” 5 times out loud and then go soak yer head, Kermit :^)
Don’t forget the photon. I thought light was behaving as a “wavicle” last time I looked. A particle propagating in space in a wave. Contemplating the hydrogen atom for any length of time would reveal a hell of a lot of empty space in matter. That area between the nucleus and the electron....let alone the implications for all matter. But, nobody seems to care if they’ve got TV to watch.
What? Really? We'll have the Webb and the Hubble?
I see what they did there.
A huge dmv waiting room.
Uranus
The space-based observatory is named after James E. Webb (1906- 1992), NASA’s second administrator. Webb is best known for leading Apollo, a series of lunar exploration programs that landed the first humans on the Moon.
All these scientists, they try way too hard.
Secrets of the universe have been sitting around for ages:

Who could ponder such minuscule questions when we are destroying the planet with our SUVs.....
Lol
Thanks for the link!
It’s a very compelling case and probably very accurate considering the things Paul saw in 2 Corinthians 12:2-4.
It makes 1:Corinthians 2:9 worth the wait.
Things get really complicated when you try to invent a theory encompassing creation while missing half the facts, if not more.
But Frog,,, that’s a inappropriate comment on a science thread. It just didn’t belong there. I’m not mad at you, but it just doesn’t fit.
Crucial, you are so right, when I asked that question my grade just got bumped and got a dumb look. Btw, they all had Nobel Peace Prize for either Physics Calculus or Electrical Engineering, Bell Labs Homdel NJ
Here’s a question to ponder, if the Universe is expanding at the speed of light, how is the Adromedia Galaxy on a collision course with the the Milky Way Galaxy? Shouldn’t we be traveling at the spee of light ??????

If a tree falls in the forest...
I think I’ve recommended this here before, but anyone who finds this concept interesting would probably really enjoy the book Tau Zero, by Poul Anderson.
