The headline reflects the moment my previous support for Ted Cruz (2011/2012), which evolved to concern about Senator Ted Cruz (2013/2014), turned to admitting Ted Cruz was a phoney.
The date was Saturday, July 19th, 2014 – I remember it vividly because I noted in my journal “last straw in providing Cruz any benefit of doubt – done“. The week leading up to that weekend DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson appeared before an emergency congressional committee and stated he needed $4,000,000,000 (billion) in emergency appropriations to deal with the enormous “humanitarian crisis at the border“.
We knew that claim was fake because we had been tracking border apprehension reports and comparing them to the expressed narrative from the White House.
There wasn’t a mass influx of unaccompanied alien children (UAC’s), there was a predictable and intentionally constructed swarm of illegal alien “families“. Secretary Johnson never got the $4 billion; and the “humanitarian crisis†mysteriously disappeared from the headlines. The reason, simply because it was all manufactured. They spent hundreds of millions for nothing.
We knew that. Heck, (40,000 children just mysteriously disappeared) and certainly the intelligent Senator Ted Cruz, with far more exhaustive resources at his disposal, certainly knew that. Yet he participated in the ruse anyway.
We knew why Glenn Beck was doing it – like Jeh Johnson, it was all about the Benjamins; and the religious entities who make millions annually from taxpayer funding of illegal immigrants were in full support for the same reason.
Beck and Cruz were passing out Teddy Bears and Soccer Balls, while Catholic Charities and Baptist Child and Family Services were getting millions. The inner-city American kids? Well, nothing for them…. not even a word from Jeh. But, oh yeah, Black Lives Matter, right? I digress.

Ok. I’ll just cut out the middle man and send campaign donations to Pelosi, Schumer, and Cankles instead of Donald. It will save him time from making donations himself, again.

That Cruz quarter of a million dollars ($200,000.00) cheerfully handed over to McConnell and Company (NRSC) was never known to conservatives, at the time.
But, we did know how Cruz “utterly” (his favorite word) FAILED conservative candidates under fire from the Establishment machine.
Now, we see that Cruz floated the Establishment boat by funding, to the tune of the $200,000.00, the “MISSISSIPPI TREATMENT”, that hired on the Haley Barbour machine out to crush the conservative leading in the polls, in order to re-elect Thad Cochran, (R-MS), the mule of the Establishment on every single vote and issue.
ALL conservatives were pained at the time that Cruz disappeared during all conservative candidates vital struggles to keep their head above furious waters. Not a word from Cruz, but some glorified defense on one or two occasions, alluding to his immense dignity and distinguished position prohibiting him from supporting candidates fighting for us and their political lives, during all those state races.
THAT was the turning point that something was up with Ted, and whatever it was, it smelled.
I don’t really know how he slept after leaving that conservative twisting in the wind in Mississippi, after he was leading against Cochran, but handily cut down by the Cruz/NRSC shenanigans and money machine that bought black democrats into the primary, their radio stations and neighborhood ads smearing the conservative.
Additionally, Cruz has been stripped clean. Rubio exposed him chapter and verse in the debate, and though Rubio is guilty, the point is that this revelation was the first concise package of examples and a PUBLIC litany of Cruz’ hypocrisy.
“Cruz, the ‘real’ Conservative in this hunt.”

This is an interesting read.
Cruz later criticized Roberts, but it was too late.
Read who brought him on board the Bush team.
Read the praise he had for him during the nomination process.
See if you recognize any catch phrases in there. These are the exact terms Crewz uses to describe himself, and my inclination is to consider the terms probably about as accurate.

WORTH REPEATING. “BEFORE Bevin {in MISSISSIPPI} even announced”.
Here is betting Ted’s contribution was even greater than Donald’s, given Cruz was trying to ingratiate himself to McConnell AGAINST a conservative contender leading in the MS polls, in one more hypocritical attempt to REDEEM himself after the spectacle he made of pandering to conservatives with the showy filibuster, that came to nought, accomplishing nothing in doing so, and causing his near banishment from proper society, also known as the Establishment Republicans.

It is refreshing that while one dodges, dances, and relies on legalese and poli-speak, there is one who fearlessly and endlessly pleads, “GUILTY, to all charges”, as he reasons with us why he did this or that, and when, why and how he changed from doing this or that.
It is not only authentic, it is downright endearing!

An old college friendship led to financial entanglement with a Jamaican private equity firm and a British Virgin Islands holding company.
