That's a felony, of the 10-years-in-prison variety, and the statute couldn't be clearer.
Hillary Clinton is a felon. There is now no question about that. That doesn’t mean she’s guaranteed to be charged or even convicted, since you still have to allow for the corruption and politicization of the justice system, unfortunately.
But no serious person can argue she is not guilty of a felony after the e-mail the State Department released (with great reluctance, I’m sure) late last night. In it, she is talking with her then-deputy chief of staff Jake Sullivan, who is supposed to be getting her some talking points about something, and she’s growing impatient waiting for them. Sullivan explains that whoever has the talking points are trying to send them via secure fax - a sure tip-off that they contain classified information, as that’s the only reason you would need to send them that way - and that they’re having trouble with this and are working on the problem.
I think someone should question this Sullivan guy.
At the nominating convention, as soon as she is anointed, have someone show up and read her Miranda and cuff her.

It takes courage to stand up to your boss when he or she asks you to do something unethical or illegal. Sadly too few people have it.
This is the “smoking gun”. It is misprision of a felony. There is no explanation or excuse. She promoted the alteration of a confidential document which is one felony. She promoted its transmission on an insecure media. That is a second felony. She has now been caught red handed and it is not going away. 18 USC 207 precludes her from holding public office. I think David Kendall is negotiating to exchange her withdrawal as candidate, “for health reasons” , if she will not be prosecuted. That is an absurd proposal and should be strongly rejected but I speculate this is or will be happening very soon.
They will just say that It was not actually Hillary who wrote the email, and that they don’t know who did it.
Highly illegal.
Anyone who handles classified information signs a document stating they understand this, among other things.
Well, anyone except high-ranking Democrats, probably.
I believe that qualifies as “Conspiracy”.

Not so sure it is illegal. For example, a commander in the military can authorize classified information to be sent in “the clear” if that commander determines that it is an operational necessity. If a Secretary of State has the same authority, then it would not be illegal.
Prosecutorial discretion on the part of the Department of Just-Us.
Is there a statute of limitations on treason, or can the future administrations that shall some day ascend to the restored and once again respected White House palace of the United States of America, turn to the honest and diligent prosecution of the series of Treason, Bribery, and other High Crimes and Misdemeanors, that have been the mark of the Current Regime.
Will the “Just Us” Dept. do it’s JOB??? THAT is the question.
Every incoming POTUS realizes that if his predecessor can be prosecuted, he can be too. Democrats practice on the Republicans’ knowledge of this, and none more than the present incumbent. It is a problem inherent in the system.
I'm sure he will be easy to fine. Just go over to Fort Marcy Park and look for body with a handgun neatly laid at his side ... or an old rolled up carpet.

True since the SoS is one of many who deems what is classified and not classifed. It becomes an issues if the classification guide indicates what is classified.
Yep- she’s may very well weasel out of this somehow- Was thinking today IF there is no ‘electronic trail’ of her aid actually sending that info altered with no classified or secret heading title,- then all she will have to say is “Nah- We never actually did it, I was just thinking out loud in my email to him trying to find a way to expedite the issue, , and thinking better of it later phoned him to say he shouldn’t do that†or some such lie- You watch, she wil l skate on this one too UNLESS there is an electronic trail

I hope you’re right- hopefully my above scenario is wrong and it is an actual felony to even write suggestions like that and transmit via email-
Didn’t Sandy Burger steal classified documents? What happened to him? Slap on the hand. Don’t get your hopes up on Emailgate. She only gets prosecuted if Zero wants her prosecuted and that is unlikely.
