Lady he’s got now seems fine.
How about Rush for Chief of Staff?
Interesting.
Yes, she is.
Everyone is so pissed off and is tired of being lied to. There is not much difference between the mainstream US press and Baghdad Bob the Iraqi information minister.
All those threats from the lefty’s about moving hither and yon because of election results.
I’m investing in American Tourister.
Trump, nor any other candidate, can legally announce that they will hire or appoint any individual to any office. It’s against Federal law.

18 U.S.C. @ 600 : US Code - Section 600: Promise of employment or other benefit for political activity

Congress, or any special consideration in obtaining any such
benefit, to any person as consideration, favor, or reward for any
political activity or for the support of or opposition to any
candidate or any political party in connection with any general or
special election to any political office, or in connection with any
primary election or political convention or caucus held to select

I was thinking Mark Steyn would blow the lefts minds. lol!
Well, zerO doesn’t follow the law...he makes his own. Why should Trump? ;))
Wait, when did laws matter to the government. I thought Obama threw all that compliance stuff out the window.
Silly.
That would be beyond glorious.
Mark Steyn would be a hoot!
That’s cool. But the girl he’s got as his press secretary now is great!
I think you’d be in the minority, Reno. Just “speculating” :P
Musing is not against the law, yet.
We can muse all we want, but Trump can’t. Even an indirect (see the fourth word of the law) comment about a specific person for a specific position is against the law.
Do you not think the press knows that? That is why they ask questions like “Would you consider him for XXXX?” They want to get the candidates in trouble.
Watch candidates when they are asked that. They sigh, smile, and say something like “I’m sure they would make a wonderful addition wherever they end up.”
Candidates are warned over and over by their lawyers about putting a name and a position together in any conversation that could be considered public.
Is press secretary a congressionally sanctioned federal office, or is it a private staff member like white house counsel, or national security advisor?
The window not opens wider - it is blown out completely. Hope he could do it for nothing cause that is all we’ll have in our pockets once this omnibus bill is passed.
GOD BLESS TRUMP and curse the majority of our congress critters.
It is a position “made possible in whole or in part by any Act of Congress”, in that it is an Act of Congress that supplies funding for Executive Branch staff. It doesn’t have to be a position established by Congress.
