I'm a Tea Partier. I detest Obama and the Progressive hoard that has Washington, DC and large portions of America in a death grip. So why don't I like Donald Trump?
Honestly, sometimes I wonder what the hell is wrong with me these days. Why can't I get on the bandwagon along with so many others with whom I agree about most everything? ...
So what's the problem with Trump? In a nutshell: judgment, or rather a deficit of it, which in turn ought to make reasonable people otherwise inclined to agree with him to perhaps, think a bit harder about the consequences of their support for him in a precarious and dangerous world ...

The loss of national sovereignty and the unchecked horde of foreign invaders is indeed a seminal issue. For me, its not the only issue. But I do agree that if we dont reassert our sovereignty sooner than later, the damage will be irreversible.

>> “Anyway, it really doesnt matter, since it has long been established that Dear Leader Trump can do no wrong. His wisdom transcends the understanding of mere mortals like you and me.” <<
.
That does frame it rather well.
They’re seemingly promoting Obama’s third term.
.
Excellent points. When have the yammering hyenas of the press EVER hectered and badgered the far and away front runner of the pack about when he will drop out? The prestitutes are as IQ-challenged as they are corrupt.

>> “Trump is running as a Republican.” <<

In a pig’s eye!

Don't tell me you call yourself a "TEA Partier?" In public? With witnesses?
.
No one has ever been able to discuss anything with you. (or Obama)
My there are so many GOPe on this thread today. Karl Rove must have deployed his monkeys.
Perot was not serious about winning, he only wanted to make G.Bush lose.
Bonehead and McConnell have done more damage than Trump could
ever do.
.
You post out of your imagination.
.
The MSM will say anything as long as it will keep his name and/or face on in prime time.

I don’t need to look any harder than a few months ago, when many of the anti-Trumpers were telling us that he was a joke and would not be a serious contender.
“I just hope he’s not playing a foolie on us all.”
Here is how I see it. Most politicians are in it for themselves and they win and we lose. With Trump, he wins if we win. He has books and ties and apartments and resorts and shows... etc. As a businesses person, when the public has jobs and security and more wealth, he will have more popularity and even more customers who will buy his ties and stay at his hotels, but they needed to be more prosperous than they are now. If USA wins, he wins. It’s in his best interest to make us all richer and more secure. It’s good for his family as well. Win-win.
It is Trump’s America too and financially he has more to lose than I. But regardless of how feckless other candidates are, some just keep beating up Trump...so GOPe.
I admit, his lack of empathy and patience for illegal immigrants is a powerful positive point.
As far as his tax plan he seems to be fine with a majority of Americans not paying taxes. In other words if you make less than 50k as a couple and 25k as an individual, you pay nothing. You have no skin in the game. Where’s the incentive? How is that a conservative policy? Seems pretty liberal to me.
You want to talk property ownership rights next?
Trump has been well known in America for what? 40 years or so? If he was a bad person who has done terrible things the left AND the GOPe would have already exposed him. Seems to me he's been a pretty darn decent guy and I believe it's time for someone to really fight the evil left. Trump's been very successful in his business and we need a winner in the white house for a change. I do believe Trump wants to make America great again and he's the only one who will attempt to do the right thing about the illegal invasion we're having now.
I've seen enough politicians come and go in my lifetime to know they're pretty much all the same. I'm sick to death of the political class that's causing our destruction. I'm ready to give Trump a shot.
We'll see.
Holy cult of personality, Batman!
Seems there are still a number here who don’t like Trump. I do.
How is that conservative policy? Conservative policy would be to have, if at all, the federal income tax be as small as it was and affecting as few as it did, when first enacted.
Folks like Milt Friedman (conservative enough for you?) actually advocated a negative income tax for low earners.
Low earners already pay payroll taxes on every cent they earn.
With EITC we already have, in effect, a negative income tax without the work incentive that at least not taxing, beyond payroll taxes, low level of incomes would require.
Overall, we’d be better off, however, minimizing welfare-type supports and maximizing work incentives by minimizing taxing thereof at this level.
That all said, I see where you’re coming from. But the best tax reform is useless unless it is enacted, and having benefits for the low-income while also reducing taxes on the more productive may be the only way to get the latter to pass.
People can be enthusiastic about their candidate...unless their candidate is Trump.
