There is a meme circulating that appears to be making fun of Dr Ben Carson’s wife, Lacena. The meme shows the image of the Carsons next to a picture of the Obamas, highlighting the difference in beauty between Mrs. Carson and Mrs. Obama. There is also a noticable difference in the ladies’ style of dress and fashion sense. While Mrs. Obama will go down in history as one of the gorgeous first ladies of all-time, Mrs. Carson probably will not.
Some think the image is funny and realistic, but others have taken offense. Demetria Luca, writing for TheRoot.com, says this:
I’m no fan of presidential candidate Ben Carson. I don’t like his politics. He receives his fair share of ire from potential voters, but he asked to be dissected in the media, traditional and social, when he announced his bid for the presidency. Candy Carson did not. There are plenty of exceptionally valid reasons to rage about Ben Carson without adding his wife to the mix.

By the way why not show the blue and green dresses with the obvious bulges in strange places for a first lady?

Mrs. Carson isn't beautiful by societal standards, but if she is good and kind as I suspect she is, she will be beautiful inside and out.

She looks like a real person, not someone who has been worked over by a batch of beauty consultants and plastic surgeons.
it has more to do with her stupid husband screwing p our country worse than any other president in U.S. history. Well that and being a hypocrite who wants to feed the children veggies while she sucks down hamburgers and ice cream and jets off on multi-miilion dollar vacations at every whim. Everybody's sick of these Muslim imposters.
The insults come from the really low ignorant people who choose to stay that way. Who the obamas are destroys any semblance of looking good. Their destruction of our once great country, speaks volumes. It ain’t pretty by any stretch of the imagination.

Gorgeous ???? Really? Is this the current First Lady in the White House in Washington DC being so described?
Michelle is not built for stylish. She would look more appropriate in a football jersey.
Fortunately for her, Mrs. Carson doesn’t have to worry about being First Lady. But I don’t envy the next Republican First Lady, be it Mrs. Cruz or Mrs. Trump or whoever. It’s open season on First Ladies now and the Democrats are going to be merciless.

Seems to me that it's usually these types of over the top statements that cause the reaction you think are mean-spirited.
Moosechelle said the first time she saw anything to like about our country is when her Barry got elected president. She is by far the ugliest First Lady we ever had.
