Too many notes.
Name another liberal you trust. If you can't, why trust liberal Donald Trump?
Sorry, I don’t understand this. And I have read it. Where or why is Trump a problem to be solved? From who’s perspective? Yours, GOPe, etc.?
Too much thinking about Trump in your post. Here is what it boils down to for real people:
The rest of the candidates do not have the balls, the stones, the huevos, the fortitude, the spine, the single minded drive, the FU money nor the power to take on the GOPe, the CoC, the MSM and the Corruptocrats and leave them crying and asking what in the hell just happened. Why does my butt hurt so much?
Trump does, and he has shown us he has no problem putting a lot of butt hurt into the aforementioned groups.
Do I trust Trump 100%? No!! Is he the only one who isnt funded by the CoC or other self interested big donors? Yes!! Walker is a good man. I see that. I saw him hold out against immense pressure in Wisconsin. Cruz is a better man. Saw him stand up to leadership, and call them liars. They have taken on sacred cows. I give them that.
Trump has been skewering the sacred cows on his lance as he rushes enemy positions. The mans frigging lance looks like a shis kebab. Walker and Cruz showed fortitude before they started running. Since, not so much. Trump is slaying the opposition, and driving their women and children before him before salting their fields.
He is a flawed man, but as I said, the Lord works in mysterious ways. A lot of us have been praying for a Dirty Harry style ass kicker to represent us. That is why he will win.
Why even try to solve it?
Sit back and enjoy the show.
Unlike his ‘reality tv’ show, this one is actually interesting and entertaining.
I don’t think posting a very long post on a complex topic late at night is a good start.
BMRK for later.
Trump isn’t a problem. Or ‘the’ problem. The problem is people too stupid to learn the lessons of their own history.
Barvie conservatives need to learn that math isn’t hard. If you want conservatism, vote for it. If you (general sense) don’t trust the guy you vote for, the problem collectively, is ‘you’.
Why are Jonbon and Mitch able to help Berry keep the baby parts and ISIS cash flowing? Because idiots elected them after being told to their faces by those candidates they would work with Barry, not oppose him.
Same thing. And all the excuses do not change the reality. Democrats did not elect these liberals. ‘we’ did.
No matter what...
Good read. Thanks for the post. Putting on the rain gear for the impending head explosions.
Hi there!
I’ve been looking into Donald Trump even before he announced his run for President. Why? Because The Apprentice videos are on www.youtube.com, and I had no other free entertainment. I had gotten up to Season 6 when he became politically controversial here on Free Republic a couple of months ago, and I have sat back and watched the posted material.
1. It doesn’t matter if he was a Democrat between 1999 - 2009 - so have a lot of conservative Republicans been Dems in the past. Lots of people change their political parties for a variety of reasons, and there exist many former Democrats on Free Republic.
One thing I noticed about The Apprentice is Trump gives out business behavior advice that is actually quite appropriate to living in general. He is really keen on honesty which I’ve noticed many here miss completely. What most miss is that he aims for honesty that is smart and not stupid.
2. Religion. You mentioned he can not quote anything from the Bible. Well, neither can I. So what?
What he does have is respect for others religious beliefs. That becomes apparent in The Apprentice series.
I strongly suggest everyone view at least the first six seasons of The Apprentice. There are generally 14 episodes and they’re very interesting. They provide an opportunity into how Trump thinks.
Will I be voting for Trump? Yes.
I do not expect a perfect person when I vote, but I do expect honesty, which I know from investigating and researching the other candidates they are not, and that includes Sen.Paul, Gov.Walker, Sen.Cruz, and Gov.Bush.
Why should we try to “fix” anything about Trump? Do we try to “fix” Jeb Bush or Ted Cruz? They are what they are.
A very good post my FRiend!
I think our only chance to save the country is to elect this flawed but powerful man.... Donald Trump.
Only Trump can build the wall.
If the American people cannot understand where the ruling class is idiology wise, which I believe they cannot. The next progressive will be as bad as the present one. What I do not understand is the draw to Trump. As progressive as Obama, Trump is as bad for this nation as the standing occupant.
Hello there grey whiskers,
Being an avid fan and student of History and the Period, I just wanted to share that I, for one, feel as though I have just experienced what it might have been like to read one of the great Pamphlets of The Revolutuonary War ~
Yours is a fact-based, Heart, Mind, Courage, and Faith provoking essay, the likes of which, unfortunately, we do not come across often enough in this critical time as a Nation; one that needs to move forward, by relying on our past.
I hoisted my Washington Cruiser Flag (An Appeal To Heaven) months ago, and believing we are still guided by His Divine Providence, am choosing to put all my Faith for the future of this great Country in the answer that He has laid out before us....
Yup, the guy with the combover. Who would have guessed!
Some day, I hope the children of my grandchildren will understand how close we were to the edge, and thank us for our choices ~
Thank you for sharing, God Bless you, and God Bless America ~
A great summation of the crap handed down to us by the GOP-e and the “criminal organization masquerading as a political party” known as the Democrats (H/T Michael Walsh - I just love that phrase) for the last few years. And very well written!! Thanks for taking the time to do this, GW.
However, I’m really not getting the same impression of the Donald that you are. I see little evidence that he “loves” America. I do see evidence of his grandiose personality and bellicosity pretty much every time he’s on TV. My impression so far of Trump is that he sees the Presidency as the final jewel in his crown of “look what I’ve done” and thinks that he might as well give it a whirl since what’s a billion here or there?
In short, it seems to me I see similarities between Trump and Obama. Not on their viewpoints, but in the view that they know better than EVERYONE else and we should elect them because they’re wonderful. (I’m exaggerating a bit here for effect.) I fear that instead of getting us back to the rule of Law, as Cruz has pledged to do, Trump will think “hey, that Executive Orders thing works pretty well” and we’ll get another term of a President riding roughshod over our Constitution. We can’t take another four or eight years of that. “A Republic, madam, if you can keep it.” Ben Franklin knew exactly what he was saying, and we’re starting to get down to the wire on that.
Again, thanks for taking the time to write. Well done. (Even if I disagree with your conclusions.)
Is there going to be a test on this material?
Someone just found the Virginia Republican Senate Majority Leader's name on an Ashley Madison account.
Legislators' names appear in hacked Ashley Madison data

Donate what you can afford to Cruz to keep him viable and it will all work out in the wash. Trump has done us all a favor if only we can leverage it instead of beefing about how he's "not a real conservative and must be smashed" because the act of smashing him is like playing Russian Roulette with 5 slugs in the chambers.
GO CRUZ!!! Keep it up Trump!
