Al Hunt on the Story implied that Donald Trump was being a racist when he brought up Obama's records.
"[Carson]I don't believe that is true that he was born somewhere else...but I can understand why someone who specifically blocks a lot of his records, would cause somebody to become suspicious...
It wasn't something that came out of the blue... Why if you are running for public office and specifically running for President of the United States, why would you go to such lengths to hide important parts of your history...
Having spent many years in academia, when somebody goes from a place like Occidental College to Columbia University that's a pretty big jump and it would be informative to find out how that occurred... when you hide something like that it makes people suspicious... "

Brilliant!
I like how you think!!!
I can see a President Trump doing that...The others (even Cruz) not so much.
#YouShouldaBeenFired
This is why Ben is spending no money and still at around 7 percent. If he throws that out there tomorrow in the debate he will pick up some ground.
Could it be that Dr. Carson does not like black people?
Labor: Walker. Watch the heads explode!
Does the sealing of the records continue after he leaves office??
How can this type of thing be legal? I would assume that all info regarding any president should be made public.
.
Dr Carson moves up on his excellent answer. I never got into the birther thing but O lack of documentation clearly indicates he is hiding something.
I wonder if he’s still married to Cokey?
No, Judy.
Not impressive; at all.
It was known and understood here on FR, as far back as 2007, that Barry was not only not qualified, he was also not eligible.
BOOM! WOW! He nailed it!
Yes, I know. Been here since 1990, tho I was a lurker for a long time before I joined.........
Interesting!
You were here before Jim!
Jim Robinson
Since Nov 28, 1997
Ok, my memory is bad. Give me a break - I’m 70!
It was whenever FR started. I was thinking it was 1990.......
Doing the time warp...
(sorry couldnt resist)
Did we really? Do we have a source on that?
I do remember how poorly written a letter he’d sent to his mentor was.
(Not Barry or Michelle-level poorly written, but not Rhodes Scholar level either.)
...”Dr. Carson has more I.Q. and morality in one of his dirty socks than the family tree of the entire democratic party (and much of the republican party as well).”...
Dr. Carson is one of the few men I can point to and then say, “This man is a hero and someone I would want to be an example to my child.” I would also want him to be President but if that is not possible, then I would want him to have a powerful position in government. I would feel safe in his hands.
“...Did Dubya, Clinton or Reagan do that?...”
Not to put too fine a point on it, but “Yes”.
See Reagan’s EO-12667 and HW.Bush’s EO-13233.
Bush’s EO expanded/lengthened Reagan’s time-periods for a President to say “No” to a release of info and 0bama’s reverted the policy to being similar to Reagan’s. None of them apply to any records preceding the corresponding President’s presidential term and they apply to all living former Presidents, not just 0bama.
0Bama has plenty of faults to the point of being truly evil that he can be righteously critiqued for. This is probably not one we should be all that concerned about, as it seems to be standard fare for all presidents regardless of party. It isn’t unique to 0bama and it has no applicability to any records prior to the start of their first term in office.
This is why when I hear something in modern politics — whether good, bad or indifferent for either party — I like to take a moment to google it myself and see if it can be taken at face value. Sadly, everything gets a healthy does of “spin” these days and it is safe to assume what you hear ain’t exactly so. This especially applies to “good news”. I’m always waiting for the other shoe to drop when the truth finally comes out. Of course, I could just be jaded from the non-stop GOP disappointments since Hussein’s election...
