My allegiance to this country is gone, and I used to be so highly patriotic. Its a very sad day. Let the chinese or russians have it, my allegiance is to God, I am done with trying to change this liberal godless cancer of a country.
I pledge allegiance to the America that was created back in 1776 and whose constitution was ratified in 1788.
I am going to remain a stealth patriot of the real America and do what I have to, to make sure the usurpers are removed and punished.

I love that romantic image myself, but I feel called to build a Christian refuge...defend it if and when necessary but primary goal is to feed and shelter those in need. I think it will get that bad.

That said, I see noting in the Bible that commands us to simply lie down and accept evil without a fight. Otherwise, what is the point in anything. Christians would simply have to accept everything stoically and participate in it. That would make no sense.
Turning the other cheek to me means that yes, we have to live in the world and everything will not go our way. Sometimes we so have to stoically bear burdens. But not existential stuff. And Nazi Germany proved beyond doubt that gay men with power can result in existential issues.
We will have to agree to disagree...
I might suggest you read up on the Pilgrims, Puritans settlements and the earlier settlers from England...

Your comment regarding polls is so true. Polls are often less than 1000 people’s view said to represent the opinion of over 300 million people. Most of us won’t even answer a poll. So the polls don’t represent much except to low information non thinkers.
I’ve been following that advice for ages. Yes, I still work - I need to eat - but I do all I can to put a lot of that paycheck into pre-tax dollars and NOT give Mother Government more than I legally owe - but don’t get me started on what I ‘legally’ owe - because ALL TAXES ARE UNCONSTITUTIONAL in the first place!

I am not advocation laying down and accepting evil, contrary...stand firm with God. I do not intend to turn the other cheek in standing up for God however, I will turn my cheek when personally insulted as I try to bring the light to those in darkness...see the difference so far? This is what the Bible means, not to surrender.
My literal calling is to create a refuge I believe. A safe place to feed and shelter those in need and to defend if it becomes necessary. I fought with the desire to fight outright but I literally am called towards this mission.
That is not to say that before things collapse totally that I would not march on Washington to protest the way the government has been handling things, but I know that will have no affect on them, but it will be good to help galvanize our side! I think we are in agreement, just realize there are may facets to what is going to happen. Perhaps someday you may find yourself and family in need of shelter and food...I hope you find a place like mine should that happen.

After all, most are brainwashed into thinking progressives are tolerant, caring, accepting, loving people...

I cannot support a country that has become so sick and morally depraved as to legally and officially equate two perverted homos as a husband-and-wife. The preservation of such a republic is no longer a particular concern of mine. The America I loved and pledged allegiance to is dead. This ‘new’ America that wallows in its degeneracy is a country I that I hope to see go down in flames.
Believe me. I wish I or anyone else didn’t have to type the same thing a million times.
But if we don’t, people will just keep taking us further left on FR with their ‘lesser evil’ crap unobstructed. It needs to be said by ALL of us that believe in conservatism.
