Ted Turner’s United Nations Foundation closing the gate on Free Society

Call it Caliphate, UN style.

Freedom and individual rights will be nothing but archaic words when a high-handed United Nations gets to deliver its upcoming, etched-in-concrete 2015 Global Social and Environmental Agenda, effectively imprisoning humanity for the next 15 years and beyond.

The rope around society’s neck will tighten to chokehold point, and that’s the full intent of media mogul Ted Turner’s long-running The United Nations Foundation.

As long as the aims of The United Nations Foundation remained in the murky abstract, its chief pooh-bahs could always fend off resisters by smearing them as conspiracy nuts imagining black helicopters hovering over the trees surrounding their rural properties.

Just as many are thinking things can’t possibly get any worse, UN abstract is becoming nightmare reality.

Interview

Ted Turner Talks Politics, Fidel Castro and Jane Fonda With O'Reilly

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

[excerpt]

O'REILLY: Fidel Castro, do you admire the man?

TURNER: Yes.

O'REILLY: Now he has murdered people. He's imprisoned people. There are political prisoners now. He won't let his people use the Internet. Nobody can use that. And you admire the guy?

TURNER: Well, I admire certain things about him. He's trained a lot of doctors, and they've got one of the best educational systems in the developing world. And you know, he's still popular with a lot of people down there. He's unpopular…

O'REILLY: But he's a killer. He's a killer. He's a guy who…

TURNER: But that has never, to my knowledge, that's never been proven. I mean…

O'REILLY: He's executed political prisoners. I mean, he enslaves people who don't see it the way he sees it. Come on. He's a dictatorship. If you admire him, then why wouldn't you admire Mussolini? I mean, what's the difference? Mussolini put people back to work. There was order. The educational system was fine. See, I'm not getting this. This is what I don't understand about it.

TURNER: Well, OK, well, if you don't see the difference between Castro and Mussolini, you know, then you know, I likened some aspects of FOX News to the Nazis, so, I mean, you know, it works both ways.

O'REILLY: But you just admitted to me that that wasn't a very good thing to do and wasn't accurate.

TURNER: Hey, listen, I didn't say I wanted to live in Cuba. And I didn't say that I was buddy buddies with Fidel Castro. I just said that I respected certain things that he's done.

O'REILLY: All right, well…

TURNER: What's wrong with that?

O'REILLY: Well, you said respect the man. And I just don't — I can't possibly see how you could do that, but…

TURNER: Of course not.

O'REILLY: Now I asked this question through one of my producers to Ms. Fonda. And I'm going to ask it to you because by reading your book, it struck me that the Vietnam experience changed you. I'm saying to myself, you know, Turner comes into the Vietnam era, conservative guy, pretty much traditional guy, it changes him.

TURNER: Yes.

O'REILLY: It changes him. And now he's a very liberal guy. So I asked Ms. Fonda, didn't it ever bother you that after all your activism and getting America out of Vietnam, which it subsequently did in the mid '70s, that 3 million human beings were slaughtered by the people that you were lionizing, the North Vietnam and the Khmer Rouge Communists who wouldn't have been slaughtered if we stayed. And their skulls were stacked on top of each other. And I never heard from you, Jane Fonda. And I never heard a word from Ted Turner about that. And that, to me, is a good question.

TURNER: You've got me. I didn't really think about it. You know, it didn't make the news very much.

O'REILLY: No, it didn't. And you had a vehicle that you could have had — the revisionist history is what I'm worried about here. I think America's a noble nation. I think we've made mistakes. I think we tried to have freedom in Vietnam for the South Vietnamese. Unfortunately, the government was corrupt. I don't think that was a venal, terrible thing to do. I think we were trying to protect people there.

"Ted Turner’s long-running The United Nations Foundation."

Formation of the United Nations:

“Alger Hiss (November 11, 1904 – November 15, 1996) was an American lawyer, government official, author, and lecturer. He was involved in the establishment of the United Nations both as a U.S. State Department and U.N. official. Hiss was accused of being a Soviet spy in 1948 and convicted of perjury in connection with this charge in 1950.

On August 3, 1948, Whittaker Chambers, a former Communist Party member, testified under subpoena before the House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC) that Hiss had secretly been a Communist while in federal service. Chambers had previously testified under oath that Hiss had never been a Communist or a spy, and Chambers would admit, under oath, to other instances where he had committed perjury under oath. Called before HUAC, Hiss categorically denied the charge. When Chambers repeated his claim on nationwide radio, Hiss filed a defamation lawsuit against him.

During the pretrial discovery process, Chambers produced new evidence indicating that he and Hiss had been involved in espionage, which both men had previously denied under oath to HUAC. A federal grand jury indicted Hiss on two counts of perjury; Chambers admitted to the same offense but, as a cooperating government witness, was never charged. Although Hiss’s indictment stemmed from the alleged espionage, he could not be tried for that crime because the statute of limitations had expired.”

I'm always ready to criticize Bill O'Reilly for his weasely stands on so many conservative issues, his stupid and dangerous moral equivalencies....and his arrogance.

But credit where credit is due.

Bill did the Lord's work in this interview by smoking-out Turner's complete amorality......and for skewering him on Castro like he (Bill) was threading a back-yard barbeque shish kebob.

the UN’s long coveted dream for One World Government.

Secular humanists like Ted Turner believe that humans are the highest form of evolved animals, yet we are still just one among many aspects of the world's single ecosystem. When we attempt to divide the world into states and nations, we are violating our place in nature. They believe that everyone should live in one community, without national borders and differing state policies.World government is an inevitable step forward in the evolutionary process.

"Sustainable development" will probably mean many things:

1. A ban on new development outside of existing developed areas.

2. Efforts to prohibit or restrict new single-family construction even in small towns and rural areas.

3. Replacement of millions of units of single-family housing with high-density housing.

4. Enforced "diversity" in areas deemed too white.

5. Restrictions on the use and/or ownership of private automobiles.

6. Removal of any tax benefits for having children, perhaps even imposing tax penalties on those having more than one child.

7. Forcing high-density housing into ALL neighborhoods except those of the wealthy (the upper 5%).

8. Fines, penalties, and/or social ostracism for anyone who publicly criticizes the goals or claims of the sustainable development movement.

9. Mandatory pro-homosexual curricula in classrooms.

10. Voluntary yet increasingly coercive efforts to encourage mass sterilization.

11. Harassment of Christians who oppose the agenda.

12. Open borders and mass immigration.

13. Restrictions on bringing private automobiles into urban areas.

14. Mass government monitoring of private communications.

15. Increasing cooperation of multi-national corporations with the goals of the sustainable development movement.

16. Forced compliance of local laws and ordinances with the goals of the international sustainable development movement. Loss of local control over decision-making.

17. The loss of national sovereignty and the abolition of the Constitution as our controlling legal document.

Several - actually, most - of these trends are already well underway.

"World government is an inevitable step forward in the evolutionary process."

I remember shortly after Bush II was first elected, my local paper ran a lengthy A3 (inside front page) story in which that idea was openly discussed in a spirit of advocacy. I was very surprised that they let the cat out of the bag. Bush's (presumed) stance in favor of American sovereignty was viewed as backward-looking and a minority view among the international elite.

Yes, he was shockingly good in that interview. Too bad he's screwed up so many other opportunities to properly expose the leftist guests he has on his show. He's never, to my knowledge, confronted frequent guest Marc Lamont Hill on any of this stuff below...

The Extreme Makeover of Fox News: Analyst Marc Lamont Hill ["Black Liberation" revolutionary communist]
Accuracy In Media - AIM Column ^ | October 2, 2009 | Cliff Kincaid

Who would plaster his Twitter page with police mug shot photos of convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur? Fox News contributor Marc Lamont Hill did. At least until David Horowitz and Accuracy in Media took notice and wrote about it. Now the page features photos of boxing great Muhammad Ali. Hill's MySpace page is also gone.

There are other changes as well. The tributes to Shakur and black racist Khallid Muhammad, known as "America's Black Hitler," have disappeared from his web pages. The articles were saved, however, and can be found here.

O’Reilly is often late to reality. Hill should never have been on the show in the first place. Not to mention O’Reilly kept Sharpton as a special guest for years before finally not inviting him back.

If the potential guest is a commie pinko leftist, don’t bring them on the show and provide them a credible stage, same true for a low life hustler like sharpton.
