Dr. Danielle N. Lee, who writes for the Scientific American blog network and calls herself "the Urban Scientist," believes that the push to visit Mars and eventually inhabit it is "white colonialism."
Dr. Lee expressed her concerns in both the Scientific American blog and on Twitter. Writing in Scientific American in an article titled, "When discussing Humanitys next move to space, the language we use matters," Dr. Lee discusses Elon Musk's push to inhabit Mars some day.
She is very critical of Musk, saying that his language is not inclusive enough to either women and minorities. "Diversity, Inclusion, Access and Ethics should be a critical part of these conversations about space science, discovery, exploration, and yes eventual travel and emigration," she writes. "And when we look around and see a homogenous [sic] group of individuals discussing these issues issues that command insane budgets, we should pause."
On Twitter, she was much more forward, writing:
Keep in mind, Musk never said that space colonization was for only whites. In fact, he never mentioned race once. The only reference to people by Musk in Dr. Lee's article was when Musk said that "humans" must get excited to explore space.
No matter, Dr. Lee has more to say about his ideas:

And she writes for Scientific American?! What is science about this ideological crap?
Some people are educated far beyond their intelligence.
what sort of “science” does this woman do?
“Invisibles POC perspectives”
What?
Seriously?
OK, I’m white and I volunteer to give up my space on the Mars mission to a POC.
How about this, the next person to accuse anyone of ‘racism’ gets to be chained to a rock and dropped into the ocean?
I very much hope that if we ever do colonize another planet that we dont make the same mistake of importing in criminals and idiots to do the manual labor jobs. Maybe robots will be advanced enough by then to avoid repeating THAT mistake again.
Leftism is a mental disease.
What is this? Anti-greenist white colonialism or something?
Seriously - race activists.
YOU’RE A WALKING PARODY. A JOKE. WORTHY OF NOTHING BUT RIDICULE.
Our future space programs will make sure that while white males will be doing it, the people going to space, colonizing and getting the headlines will not include many white males.
Send her fat ass to the Sun.
Mars needs diversity......and ghetto’s.
Apparently we are now responsible for screwing up a planet that we haven't been to yet. This is a future crime (The COGS have fortolled it). In the future, Marsions are racists and destroying the planet with our presence.
I say we send all the victim groups there ahead of white males bewteen the ages of 25 and 50. Let them make history and be the pioneers. Or would having the victim groups take the highest risk also be racist? I say we should settle this argument ahead of our venture to explore the planet.

SA has been a tendentious leftist propaganda rag for decades now.

“Humans” is a racist code-word dog whistle for white privileged people to exclude others and sounds like “you man” which is sexist. (Sarc off)
Is there word, action, deed or anything in this country that is NOT racist to these people????????????????????????

...
Scientific American went to the Dark Side years ago.
