OUTRAGE! I Dont Give A Damn VA Employee Caught On Camera Belittling Elderly Vet Desperate For Thyroid Meds (VIDEO) Blood boiling. Making matters worse the VA employee humiliated the elderly veteran in a jam packed waiting room.
Its obvious that the mean spirited bureaucrat is in the wrong profession.

Especially the ones by Beth Conrey, Sean Nelson, Karen Black, Ellen Mitchell, and Melissa Brewer.
Some of these folks worked with the VA employee.
Sean knows where the VA facility is, but didn’t say where.
The closed captions don’t work very well...
the libertynews site says a man named Kevin Clifton of San Antonio was the one who took the vid and then uploaded it to his FB page.
It sounds like it to me, however, it is so choppy and lower than the rest that it could have been edited in.
Well, if one has to conduct a complete audio analysis in order to try to condemn this nurse for something she may or likely may not have said, then it certainly isn't worth the time.
Like I said, there are people who have to find something to be pissed off about and a target in which to direct their wrath............
I'm above that irrational mob mentality and this nurse certainly doesn't deserve that attention.
Apparently the VA is afraid he’s going to get extra thyroid meds to sell to kids in the neighborhood.
You might also notice how quickly it is becoming focused on females.
Does your VA make you go through airport type security before you enter? Ours does, that means removing the belt for the scanner, taking the pen knife off of my key chain and leaving it in the car, along with my pocket knife.
Eventually anyone in a customer facing position grows to hate the customers. It’s inevitable because the source, or at least the flash point, of all your on the job stress.
You must not be a vet.
Yep. There was an article about all the disability backpay a woman received because she was sexually assaulted while in the military.
She was clear, to the point and polite the way bureaucrats are, telling him that she has proof the meds were delivered and would talk to the dr about having them reordered. In the meantime she would make sure the other meds were reordered.
There are many people sharing prescriptions these days, so this is precautionary.
I didn’t see any problem here.
No, it’s not. There are bigger fish to fry in the VA.
They should get an insurance card that can be used anywhere. Even a PPO network like most people have.
Unfortunately this attitude at the VA didn't start with Bathhouse Barry, but has been prevalent for a long, long time. However when the first words out of the usurper's mouth were that Veterans were terrorists, this gave a green light for VA employees to openly display their disdain.
I am. And so is my 'ol lady, who happens to work for the VA. I ain't sayin this particular situation ain't bad. But here's a coupla things to consider.
1) Being a vet does not automatically make you a good person. There's lots of vets abusing the system for drugs and profit.
2) Being a VA employee does not automatically make you a vet mistreater. I know from personal experience that her and her associates mostly do their level best to help their troops that honestly need help, as best they can within the bureaucratic system they have to work with. Which is not helped by some grumpy vet lettin fly at every VA employee they come into contact with 'cause..
a)they're expecting bad treatment (mebbe from reading BS bloviating internet postings?)
b)They're not getting the treatment they think they should be getting. (i.e. The VA mostly covers service-related injuries. That hernia ya got lifting a keg over your head at a drunken party ain't a service related injury. But they'll prolly help ya anyway in most cases. And no, they don't cover-everything-for-as-long-as-you-live.)
What it boils down to is that there are generally 3 sides to every story. A receptionist at her VA that was just "rude" to a vet got "let go". I see you guys "piling on" to these VA stories and sounding like a buncha Jerry Springer fans. Some deserve your ire, most do not. And if ya head into the office with a chip on yer shoulder ya just might piss off the person who may have wanted to help you.
This is despicable.
I replayed it 3 times and I didn’t hear what’s in the title.
Not defending her action or demeanor, but this seems overhyped. That type of hype that will damage allegations against the VA.
I’d like to see more videos of what’s really going on. Where are they? (crickets)
Do a vet a solid: Equip them with a body cam.
The facts I'm going on concerning coverage come from my VA nurse ol lady who admits and discharges patients from the VA on a daily.
What's your source that substantiates your claim to complete/comprehensive coverage? Seems you have had good care at the VA from your other posts.
