She was clear, to the point and polite the way bureaucrats are, telling him that she has proof the meds were delivered and would talk to the dr about having them reordered. In the meantime she would make sure the other meds were reordered.

There are many people sharing prescriptions these days, so this is precautionary.

I didn’t see any problem here.

I went back and listened to this one more time after seeing your reply to me. I thought perhaps I had missed something.

As far as I could tell...I didn’t hear her say I don’t give a damn. But her manner was rude.

When I deal with older people I try to take extra time. I never know how good their hearing is or how well they understand the situation. I assume this lady deals with lots of older people. A little kindness goes a long way. If we live long enough, you...me...we will all be in this man’s situation. And being dealt with in a similar manner. Yippee!! I can’t wait. And not only at a VA facility.

Of course, there are many people that don’t need to be in their occupations.

Sorry, but I see a huge problem. Not only with VA facilities but in public facilities.

I don’t know if you have had any dealings with the VA or not. I haven’t for my personal care...but I took my Dad there. As far as I could see, it was hurry up and wait. The lady had time to treat this man a little kinder. Unless she had an urgent “bathroom” issue. And that, of course, could well be. :)
