In a stark assessment of U.S.-Israel relations, Mr. Obama, speaking at a news conference, put a firm end to one of the top foreign-policy goals of his second term: a Middle East peace deal that includes the creation a Palestinian state.Most pro-Israel administration evah? Now that the US has left Iraq to Islamic State and Afghanistan to the Taliban, they have the troops available.“What we can’t do is pretend that there’s a possibility for something that’s not there,” Mr. Obama said. “And we can’t continue to premise our public diplomacy based on something that everybody knows is not going to happen at least in the next several years.”
He added, “For the sake of our own credibility I think we have to be able to be honest about that.”

Messrs. Obama and Netanyahu are deeply divided over nuclear talks with Iran, an issue likely to resurface as the next deadline in negotiations arrives next week. The two leaders have long disliked each other, but Mr. Obama played down the notion that personal discord was motivating his policy decisions.
“The issue is not a matter of relations between leaders. The issue is a very clear substantive challenge: We believe that two states is the best path forward for Israel’s security, for Palestinian aspirations, and for regional stability,” Mr. Obama said. “And Prime Minister Netanyahu has a different approach.”
The president said the U.S. is considering alternatives to Israeli-Palestinian talks, including taking action at the United Nations that would afford Palestinians statehood.

There is no binding agreement that lasts more than 20 months without Congressional treaty approval ( which will never happen) The United Nations needs to be totally defunded and removed from our soil. NOW!!

The “Two State” plan is nothing more than enveloping Israel with a hostile state where ISIS, HAMAS, AL-Qaeda and all the other muslim terrorist buttwipes to move into and establish bases for attacks against the Magan David.
Of course, Israel will be expected to supply the power and clean water while being attacked daily by Obama’s pals..
The French, no less, are going to tell Obama to shove it, and veto his plan in the UN. Maybe the Brits, too. They have their Churchill bust back, they can ask Winnie what to do. Bwahaahaaa. Obama is going to be so mad, so petulant, that someone that he will have to destroy someone or he won’t be able to get through the day. Someone on Lois Lerner’s list maybe.

It is all a con. Going into negotiations with Iran, the Obama team always had a plan to claim that failure would be the fault of Israel. Even if Israel were spying on these talks, I'm not sure that the Israeli’s were the ones to leak details of the negotiations, especially with the logical conclusion that peace; an oxymoron in the Iraqi lexicon, was ever the goal.
Rational beings all know there is no good coming from any negotiations with Iran at this point. My contention is, going in, that the plan was for the administration to strategically leak and to blame it on Israeli spying. Now with the letter to Iran from the senators, they have been given the ultimate out to also blame the GOP, as well, for the obvious failure of the talks. Watch for the crap to hit the fan and Israel being forced to militarily defend their security again for Obama to refuse them help because it is all Israel's fault.
The whole effort was to target Israel and to force them into Military action. Hopefully they will leave Obama hanging and let the nuclear deal die as it certainly will.
On the outside chance that the administration strikes a deal with Iran, they are banking on the Senate to override thus giving them cover.

Agreed. They’ve gotten too big for their britches. Their gun grab by their UNODA divison on Christmas Eve of last year told me all I needed to know about their true intentions. Why Christmas Eve of all days? It should be as obvious as the timing of Pearl Harbor on a sleepy Sunday morning at 7:48 am...

It can be done. Name a date, time, and a place then advertise it through multple sources. There are millions of conservatives that are probably available on any given day especially now that he’s pissed off so many. Hell you may be able to get liberals that have a brain to show up now. They’re even pissed off at him.
