I make no apology for this title. The Jews have much to answer for, especially the Jews of Israel – and there’s no letting up.
I write from England, this precious stone set in the silver sea, where our forefathers were nourished on the blessed freedoms of a robust paganism.
We relished our ever-inventive superstitions and gloried in unbridled passion. We made our choice between 14 gods, worshipped devils, and were in lifelong bondage to an inexorable fate known sinisterly as Wyrd. Standards there were, agreeably low.
Sure, hopeless ruffians were we, shackled to a changeless decree of the gods, but we felt mostly good about our brute lives and ourselves. We were all in the same boat, no better and no worse than the next bloke.
However, like the distant rumblings of an approaching rainstorm, the Jewish Messiah’s teachings had reached our shores in the 1st century, and their voice was growing louder. The Jewish Messiah and the Jewish Bible would become our nemesis and break open our little world.
What followed is well documented and one may Google for the relevant facts, but, for us, it meant that we could no longer enjoy the life of unbridled paganism. The bar of morality had been raised. It was a rude awakening; our stone of shelter was overturned. Now I am reminded of a friend back in the 70′s, who was employed for a few days in a factory that manufactured long, electro-plated metal rods. Turning out nearly 300 of these things every day, he was approached by the Foreman.

I understand the intent but i dislike this style of rhetoric.

Good article. The title is intriguing as intended, and caused me to read the article which sets up and destroys the usual knee-jerk anti-Israel lines.
The first sentence is all that makes sense to me. The rest is garbled.

If I remember right it was England that started the carpet bombing of Europe. Does Dresden come to mind. Did England give up when Hitler attacked with rockets. NO, they destroyed many cities. Most of Gaza is intact. Israel is going after tunnels and rockets not civilians like England did.
It helps to read the article before commenting.

Anyone who reads this and thinks it is a slam at Israel is beyond redemption anyhow.
It is EXTREMELY sarcastic — I agree with others that this type of writing is for the very few (think Mark Steyn) and the author should stick with his normal form of pointing out the many, many hypocrisies and pointing at the antics of the left.
You can start with this paragraph and from there the rest starts to make more sense where he is going.

Which is why the Jews will see some ultimate threat brought to their very threshold...and they will do what they might have done decades ago.
Just pointing out the hypocaust of accusing Israel of not slowing down attacks on terrorists while going out of their way to avoid civilians when it was England that destroyed whole cities not trying to avoid civilian centers.
The first sentence is all that made sense to me. The rest of the excerpt was meaningless. Why read the article if the excerpt is meaningless. I realize writers have to take simple ideas and make them sound interesting to sell their work but you have to make sense.
