A dear friend of ours has been hospitalized and had emergency surgery this morning.
The doctors removed the muscle of his right forearm and most of the tissue around his left hip. They say that he will not be able to use the fingers of his right hand and that he will not walk again.
They say the disease will remain in his system for up to six weeks, so his ordeal is far from over.
Please pray for him. He is a very, very good and kind man.
Our friend is a master electrician, and he is a young man.
Thank you very much for sharing the info about hyperbaric O2 treatment.
We will definitely look into this treatment and tell his family about it.
Thanks again!
Will do,they have been asking for him. On iPhone forgive mistakes
Any time, friend.
Continued prayers for Jesse. I will also incorporate prayers from my friends on facebook for him.
Glory to God for the good news! We are glad to hear of Jesse’s situation, and continuing to keep him in our our thoughts and prayers.
God bless you during the challenges of moving. Hang in there!

Prayers up! BTT
Prayers that Jesse’s condition will continue to improve. He’s fortunate to have such wonderful friends, pax.
Mistakes are certainly not a problem!
:-)
More Facebook friends praying!
Many thanks to you and them!
Thanks for continued prayers and thread bump!
Jesse has many more friends than we knew about!
He’s very quiet about the very many people he visits and helps, many of them elderly with limited incomes.
He often spends entire days, even weeks, helping out, and never mentions it to us.
I’m fortunate to be his friend.
Thanks for your prayers, DL!
:-)
llmc1, thank you for your prayers.
Thank you, Al.
It means so much.
Thank you for your prayers, Jane.
Update at 99.
Thank you for the update. I will continue to keep Jesse and his caregivers in my prayers. We’ll take good news in whatever increments they may come, right?
I’ll also say a prayer for you and your hubby/family...that your move goes without a hitch. Are you still going to be near Jesse?
Blessings to all.
UPDATE:
Doctors say that because white blood cell count is still high that the infection is still in Jesse’s body and that they will do testing to look for the source of the infection, including testing heart and lungs. Also, surgery to clean wounds must be postponed because of this.
Good news is that they say Jesse’s wounds are healing well. (Thank you all for your prayers!)
Yesterday the physical therapy called for Jesse to try standing and moving across the room using a walker. He wasn’t able to support himself, but he’s still very weak from the illness and being bedridden for so long.
He’s optimistic and extremely grateful for the prayers and the concern of others for him. I plan to print this thread sometime this weekend and get it to him, so please feel free to post messages to Jesse!
Once again, THANK YOU ALL FOR PRAYING!!!
((((HUGE GROUP HUG!!!))))
Much, much love to all -
pax
