The Anti-Defamation League has published a global survey indicating that there are approximately one billion anti-Semites in the world today. The ADL derived its estimate by polling 53,100 adults in 102 countries.
The cause of anti-Semitism is taboo and this endangers Jews, Christians and Americans. A stereotype of Jews listed by the ADL as motivators for anti-Semitism is that Jews are too successful in business. Another stereotype listed is that Jews are disloyal which could be interpreted to mean that Jews distrust government authority. Why, then, would so many people around the world view these factors as negative and why would they attach these attributes exclusively to Jews? More fundamentally, why does one out of every seven people in the world hate the Jews? What did the Jews do to deserve this?
I respectfully submit a theory to answer this complex question. I contend that an essential element driving anti-Semitism was first launched by Karl Marx in his inflammatory anti-Semitic tract On the Jewish Question published in 1844. This screed belongs in the same pantheon of hate as The Protocols of the Elders of Zion and Mein Kampf.
While Marx did not invent anti-Semitism, he gave old ideas a new and respectable sounding veneer of science and a modern gloss. Marx anti-Semitic theory encouraged fading notions of Christian anti-Semitism. Marx theory continue to provide a dynamic core to the radical Islamic variation of anti-Semitism. Indeed, Marx ideas provided the moral imprimatur and the call for action for the deadly racist anti-Semitism of Hitler and the National Socialist Nazis.

The Left wages war against God. That’s the whole story. There really isn’t more to it than that.
I think the important post is that kinds of hatred are interrelated. I’ve known people who have success from various religions. I strongly doubt, contrary to the conspiracy junk out there, that it’s purely about money, materialism is natural for anyone of any religion, or even secular, to experience some degree or another of it. I kind of think the “Tiger Mom” said it best describing people with a religious upbringing being successful thanks to being taught a disciplined lifestyle. Take a look at Judaism, or plenty of the other Orthodox religions, if you are an active practicioner of those religions, you live a fairly disciplined lifestyle.

If it’s anti-American and anti-Christian, then it’s de rigeur all over the world. Anti-Americanism and anti-Christianism is only a little more subtle in the US.

When 3rd Man Kim Philby’s dad, Harry St. John Philby became advisor to King Abdulazziz Ibn Saud after WW 1, the Saudis were actually encouraging Jewish immigration into Palestine.
This was when most Jews were still monotheistic believers and practitioners of traditional morality. Now their agnostic descendants are cultural and spiritual enemies of the traditional majority of the Middle East. When the best, the People of God, go bad, they become the worst.
Interesting, but that case was closed by Mark Twain in his Essay, “Concerning the Jews”. Anyone interested in the topic should read it. Its the definitive explanation.

Marx just recycled the old German Jew hate. He really didn’t come up with a new theory. Twain is the one who explains it.

Anti-semitism = envy. It is that simple. It is a losers’s sport.
Jews are culturally valuing achievements and for that reason are more successful in general
Losers aren’t about to blame themselves for their choices and they want a scapegoat who are doing better.
A hatred like that is not limited to Jews actually. Chinese are Jews of SE Asia, Russians are Jews of Central Asia, ‘the rich’ are leftists’ Jews and so on.

A few things I’d disagree with, Joseph wasn’t accruing wealth for himself, his status was a reflection of Pharaoh. And he clearly overestimates the number of Jews in many nations, but in those days how do you count those things. It’s an excellent analysis, far ahead of the “civility” of the 20th century.
